It went far better than I anticipated. Sue was a real gem as it is a challenge to hold an estate sale when the owner is still living there. She kept me in the loop and really tried to accommodate any changes I wanted to make. They advertise every where, as a result the first day of sale the streets were lined with cars. Her company really researches the furniture you are selling to get you the highest price possible. Since, she was leaving town for Thanksgiving she came back at 8pm the last day of the sale to pay me and also arranged for someone to come and replace the spring for the screen door. And finally Sue arranged for some one to come the next day to remove everything that I did not want to keep. Very professional company. Went 200% to get everything sold. I went through a couple of estate sale companies to liquidate my fathers estate and have to say I couldn't have been happier with the service this company provided. Sue, the owner was diligent in her pricing and easy to work with. Her constant communication during the process really made me feel like they were truly vested in doing the best job possible. She priced things fairly but didn't give everything away and there wasn't much left in the house at the end. Organizing life also was instrumental in the selling of a few vehicles INCLUDING a very hard to sell RV at a very fair price for everyone. To the ladies of Organizing Life Services I thank you for your effort and professionalism.

Brilliantly. I called upon Organizing Life Services to sell everything I owned and empty my home prior to listing it for sale. It was a daunting task. Sue and Vivian came in, assessed the situation completely, my furniture, kitchen, jewelry, clothes, patio all the junk drawers. They even toook into consideration my HOA and the parking logistics for the sale days. Everything was priced, organized and displayed. I was very impressed in the following of buyers this team has developed. Hundreds came to my sale and everything of value was sold. The bits left were happply donated. My place was left neat and I was very happpy with the final proceeds of the sale. I couldn't have come close to making that $$ on my own. I highly recommend this service for anyone wanting to maximize turning possessions into ca$h.

Everything went great. Vivian & Sue met with me and looked over everything I was not taking with me. We set a date for the sale which meant that I had to move out before that date. Luckily I was able to move out before the date they needed me to. From that point it was all them. They went in the house set everything up and priced it. The sale lasted a few days. I had optioned that they would clean out the house when the sale was over. I went back to the house after the sale and it looked great. They did exactly what they told me they would. I highly recommend these two women. I had someone else come and talk to me about doing a sale and the thought of him doing it made me ill. As soon as Vivian and Sue walked in I felt very comfortable about having them do it. Thank you so much!

From the first time you meet Vivian and Sue, you will realize the professional approach they take to the sale of one’s personal possessions. In our case, I hired Organizing Life Services to sell our Mother’s “prized possessions” she had accumulated over the course of her lifetime. Prior to the start of the sale, they came to the house and took several pictures of the more valuable pieces. They then contacted dealers and antique professionals to get their opinion on an acceptable price range for these items. Once we gave them the go ahead, that’s when we realized we had picked the right company. I live 1200 miles away and Vivian and Sue kept me apprised of the status every day. They actually had their crew come in on Easter Weekend to get a head start to ensure they would be ready for the sale to start on the upcoming Thursday. They got advertising going and mass emails to hundreds of people advising them of the sale within hours. They ran the sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday until noon. And guess what? They did exactly what they said they would do. They sold nearly all of the furnishing, had a refuse company pick up the balance, cleaned up the floors and closed the doors to an empty house. Not only did they do everything they said they would do, they presented us with a check for the proceeds that exceeded our wildest expectations. You can find companies that promise to do all of this at a cheaper rate but Vivian and Sue take pride in their work and are very compassionate as they know they are working with a loved one’s prize possessions. Interview several companies and then hire the best – Organizing Life Services is “for real” and you will not be disappointed.

Be SURE that everything you want out of the sale is OUT of the venue as once they go in all items are in the sale.  They start advertising and working deals as soon as they have access to the house so have all ?not for sale? items removed.  If it is a questionable item, don?t put it in as you can add items at the last minute.

Review, review, review your reserve list which they will honor.  It you have any doubts about something, put it on the reserve list. 
You can always take it off. 

Be available by phone or text on sale days in case they have a good counter offer for you to consider, which I did take.  Also, make sure if you are in a gated community that the gate guards know about it and to be on their best behavior.  These ladies have quite the following and there was a lot of traffic.

Lastly I was duly impressed that the communication didn?t end once the paperwork was finalized. They contacted me about potential buyers for stuff that didn?t sell even after things were finalized.  I would definitely recommend and hire these ladies again.

They came in advance and looked at everything we had to be sold.  There was some furniture, small appliances, kitchenware, linens and most of the yard equipment and miscellaneous items.   They arrived the week before to stage the sale and advertised in advance.  They had sold some of the furniture before the actual sale date.    They actually prefer that you just leave everything where it sits and let them take it out of the cabinets & move it, rather than attempting to get everything out for them.   After the sale, they got rid of everything else that didn't sell and cleaned up.  The house was absolutely empty and ready for closing after the sale.   They also got a better price for everything than I would have myself and saved me from all of the work involved with it.  It was a wonderful experience and I was extremely happy with the proceeds from the sale.

We used this service when we moved from a large home to a condo. It was the BEST decision we made. They are extremely  

organized and know the business well. It was a huge success. After the sale the items that didn't get sold they provided a service

who came and removed the rest of the items. I would recommend this service to all!

Told us what the potential profit from sale would be. Organized and priced items. Disbursed items after sale that were not sold. Vicky Heckman and Sue Porter were helpful, supportive and energetic even though our sale would be a small one. My mother lives in a gated community that did not allow signs, but they were able to get people out to the sale. Their fee is 35% which seems common for our size sale. We had 3 estimates and were glad we chose Organizing Life Services!

OLS took much of the and quot;worryand quot; out of our move. They created a custom package, spelled it out clearly in writing, and made it all happen, in spite of a seemingly impossible deadline. They evaluated our antiques and fine art (at no cost to us), kept us advised as appraisals came in, helped us decide whether to put a reserve on certain pieces.
After the mover's truck pulled away, they staged everything left in the house for a huge and quot;downsizing sale.and quot; Afterward, their cleaning people did such an outstanding job (for a fair price) that we received kudos in writing from the Realtor. Our TOTAL security deposit was immediately released!
Vivian and Sue are professional, and well-qualified. They work tirelessly. Always easy to reach, easy to deal with, and available whenever we needed assistance, we felt comfortable trusting them with the keys to the house. The fairytale ending: the owner received an empty, spotlessly clean house on the last day of our lease!
DO plan to engage the girls early enough that they can adequately advertise your sale - both to the public and to private collectors and buyers. We did well enough, but would have benefitted if we'd given them more time. Also, DO NOT pack the documentation their appraisers WILL require (if needed) to establish value.
