The carpet was left very wet. The air conditioning was turned down to 68 degrees for 3 days. If you do not have the air on low, the carpet will mildew. By the end of day 2, the odor became noticeable. I understand that service businesses have bad days too.After multiple calls, I finally got someone on the phone. I asked them to please fix this situation. They made an appointment to return and correct the problem. They did not show or call me to reschedule. When I was able to get someone on the phone, he said that he'd return my call but hasn't. When I call they do not answer, hang up, as state they are someone else, and state they just bought the business .It is not new ownership. When I called from an unknown phone number, they answered stating they are busy and will return my call later.To this day I have not received a return call. They gave an estimate of $99. When they were done, they wrote the bill for 329.00. I explained that was very costly for an 800 sq ft home. They lowered the bill to 250.00. I had to have my carpets cleaned by another company. It was less costly, and so far there is no mildew or odor noted. Thank goodness it could be corrected. As a landlord of multiple homes since 2002, I am pretty well informed and knowledgeable regarding housing.
