George is very thorough, knowledgeable, detailed, he gave us a time line for our expectation. As the construction comes along he engage us and gave us ideas base on the process that he is doing. He gave us lots of ideas. Very timely, and a good friend since then.

It went well.  Plans submitted.  Waiting for it to be reviewed and finalized.

George did some research on it and found out about it.  Even though I couldn’t be down here while the house was being built, I had confidence in George Lai Construction. I could take his word for what he was doing; he would send pictures every day and he would tell me what was done and what needed to be done.  A lot of people would think it was ludicrous to not be on site while a home is being built but I had confidence that he would do what he said he was going to do. He did exactly what he said he was going to do; I was very happy about that. I wanted a metal roof and I wanted blown foam insulation in the attic.  I got good cabinets, good appliances, and good hardware. I was on a fixed budget and I couldn’t go over what I had.  If there was something wrong, it was taken care of but it took time to get at because of other projects going on.  He was very professional and he didn’t undermine anything.  Everything turned out well and I am quite satisfied. I would recommend him to others as long as they have a scope of work of what he is to do in his building and what the price is.

While talking to the other contractors and then talking to George, he always stood out as what I wanted. He was very meticulous on building the home in my budget. He was always easy to talk to and had great resources online to showcase his abilities in home building. He said he would build me a home that he could be proud of when he was finished. He drew up blueprints to make everything functional on my lot. I went with the blueprints he drew up. He would send me pictures of the progress and call me about every day to keep me updated on the progress.
