"We are very sorry for your trouble. Please bring the unit in to us to look at. We stand behind our work. When we repaired your computer several months ago, it had passed all Apple diagnostics and was running perfectly. We have not heard back from you since then and have no idea what problem you are having now. However, we will be happy to look at it now and determine if this was related to the repair we made several months ago or is this is a new issue. Anything is possible in a 6+ year old computer. Even though you are past the 30 day service warranty, we will refrain from charging the diagnostic fee until it is determined whether the issue is related or a new issue. If its determined the problem is related we will of course repair it and there will be no charge. We think your rating was premature in that at this time the problem you are having now is of unknown origin and is most likely not related to our original repair because it passed the Apple diagnostic before it left our shop and you gave us all "A" ratings on your previous evaluation. We sincerely wished you had called us first and given us a chance to respond."
"First, we never did any work for anyone by this name. The situation involved a customer obviously cashing in on someone else's membership to receive a discount. Their initial call was for password removal on their computer and it wasn't until after this problem was resolved that they then brought up an issue with their Internet. They needed a booster which we do not stock as this is not something commonly used. We told him what he needed and gave him options that he could go buy it himself or we could get it but he would have to pay for our time to go to the store and buy the part while he waited. He opted to get the part himself and our tech told him it was an easy setup and he could do it himself and he would be happy to walk him through it over the phone for no charge. The next day, customer called and refused to listen to how simple the setup was and insisted on our tech coming out to set it up even though it only involved plugging it in. That's it. We advised if we came out, this was a new job and service charge call. He agreed to the service charge, he just wanted someone else "to deal with it". Everything was fine until we handed him an invoice. He then went into a tirade and said "No way in f****** hell. I am not paying that. It should be half of that.". He said if he had to pay, he would send in a bad review, therefore trying to blackmail us. Our technician reminded him that he agreed to the charge before we even came out there. Our technician did drive the 25 miles from his last stop, and did complete the service. The customer continued his tirade for another 20 minutes before he wrote the check. Our technician was subjected to abusive language this entire time, and was told to "take the check and wipe your a** with it, and get the f*** out of my house." The customer did receive the service and at a discount. As Judge Judy would say, "He ate the steak" and then didn't want to pay for it."
