OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE! BEWARE! DON'T EVER HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR! AFTER A MONTH, SEVERE CUPPING AND BUCKLING OF THE FLOORS OCCURRED AND THE FLOORING LITERARY PULLED AWAY FROM THE CONCRETE, LIFTING UP TO SEVERAL INCHES IN MOST AREAS. THERE WAS ALSO UNEVENNESS, EXPANSION, CONTRACTION AND WIDE GAPS BETWEEN BOARDS. WE WERE SHOCKED AND ANGRY! WE CALLED ANGEL AND PAT (THE COMPANY OWNERS) AND THEY SAID THAT OUR HOUSE HAD VERY HIGH HUMIDITY AND THERE'S NOTHING MUCH THEY CAN DO AND RECOMMENDED US TO BUY A DEHUMIDIFIER WHICH WE BOUGHT. MUCH TO OUR FRUSTRATION, WE HIRED A CERTIFIED FLOOR INSPECTOR TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT. THE INSTALLERS USED THE WRONG GLUE!! WE SENT A SAMPLE OF THE GLUED BAMBOO FLOORING FOR LAB TESTING AND IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THEY DID NOT USE URETHANE GLUE IN THE PROBLEM AREAS, INSTEAD A CHEAP WATER-BASED GLUE WAS USED. THE BAMBOO MANUFACTURER HAD CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ON ALL 50+ BOXES THAT URETHANE GLUE MUST BE USED, OBVIOUSLY THE INSTALLERS NEVER READ THEM!
