"You're so funny [Member Name Removed]. Notice your review is the polar opposite of everyone else's. A "One Time" service means you are not signing that property up for recurring service. It doesn't mean that when we walk off the property the ants leave with us. The problem was way worse than you described. However, I never charge more once I've quoted a price, even if I lose money. You were charged last years price, and still complained, but agreed because you know I've never failed you. That's how I work. My clients satisfaction is more important to me than making a few bucks. You visited the property 3 days after the service, which your tenant was told that the activity would peak at that point due to the colony collapsing and the ants freaking out trying to figure out what's going on. James went out to inspect the house the next business day after you said "You're treatment didn't work", and the tenant said that since you were there, the activity has dropped considerably. You have no patience. You text me in the middle of the night all the time. Saturday nights, Sundays, even holidays. I had so many customers text me "Merry Christmas" this past Christmas day. You text me saying "my sister has roaches again". On Christmas!? I have over 500 customers and you are the only one that does this. You have no patience, and no respect. You have always given me a hard time about my pricing no matter what the price is because it's in your nature to be that way (which you always got a discount because you're a landlord and have multiple properties). Even though we have systems in place to make it easy to pay your bills, we've consistently had to chase our money from you. You have multiple properties and refuse to look at your service records, so how do you expect to resolve a billing discrepancy then? By being nasty and demanding? When you first hired me, and I arrived at your door your husband greeted me saying "Oh, a new pest guy. How long are you going to be around for?". He explained to me that you go through pest guys on a regular basis, and they usually don't last more than a year. I assured him that if we ever parted ways it would be because I'd be the one firing you. Nobody fires me because I never let anyone down. Now look... three and half years later, YOU ARE FIRED! You can't tarnish my reputation. You pay the least, and complain the most. You were actually on my to-do list for a long time to give a cancellation notice to.. Your nasty attitude just sped that up. Thank you for making room in my schedule to deal with more pleasant people."

Another thing that struck me was that he warned me that I may be getting an email that refers to auto pay, but it was automatically generated and just to ignore it; it was for recurring customers. So I knew he had recurring customers, but he never once tried to sell me more than I asked for. Usually businesses take every opportunity to tell you how much more you need (and how much more you should buy from them!), but I didn't get that impression at all. It was a happy change of pace!
We scheduled an appointment for very soon, and the nice young man that came to do the treatment was on time and very professional. He asked me to walk him thru the property and show him my concerns, while he explained what was going to happen. He was so great! Our English Bulldog approved as well because he received plenty of love and attention as well!
Even though I was forewarned that the treatment could take a few days, I went out a couple of hours later (when the treatment had dried and it was safe for me to take out the puppy) and the massive ant hill was already destroyed. I saw no more ants for the next couple of weeks. I then got the phone call that they would like to come back for the 2 week re-treatment. I told him I couldn't guarantee anyone would be home, but to feel free to let themselves in the back gate. The nice young man came back, treated the yard, and since someone was home, was able to pop back in to say hi to Bubby the Bulldog!
Overall, the entire process was super easy: from finding Ecologix on Angie's List, to making and keeping the appointments. I would most certainly use Ecologix again and would recommend them to anyone I knew. Thanks again guys! Great work!

For me, Ted set himself apart (and made my experience virtually stress-free) by adhering to a few simple but vital tenets: proactive communication, results-driven workmanship, and disciplined self-reliance.
Appointment reminders always preceded a visit, and appointments that had to be moved were rescheduled well in advance. When services were performed, they were performed with care and expertise. Ecologix is the epitome of a quality over quantity company, and Ted holds his work to standards that, in my experience, rarely stray from perfection. If you often cannot be home to supervise your contractors, Ted and his team are exactly the kind of people you want working on your home. No courtesy was spared, and I never felt out of the loop or unbriefed on the progress of my restoration.
I would absolutely recommend Ecologix for any pest control and related restoration services, large or small. I am not easily pleased or impressed, but Ted and his team truly went above and beyond for me, as I know they do for all their clients. They have earned my highest recommendation.

Let me start with telling you what happened before I knew about Ecologix, when I used to work with Terminex and I used to have to call them back out on a regular basis for persisting problems with ants. The service tech sent by Terminex actually even told me a very long, completely fabricated, story about Pharaoh Ants getting their name because they were found inside the Egyptian pyramids. (It was complete BS.) That's not even how their name is spelled.
Since I've met Ted DelSardo and his team at Ecologix, I've never again had any issue with any kind of pest. When they come to treat at my home or at my office, they crawl inside of the tiny spaces underneath the building and up into the attic and they walk the entire property. They change equipment and outfits a few times as they are covering all of their bases. I've never seen such a thorough approach to pest elimination. I've come to the conclusion that if you want it Dead, you have to call Ted.
We love Ecologix so much that we are always referring him to other people we meet through our work. They make me look good as I always get glowing reviews from the people when they are so impressed with Ecologix's service and fair pricing. I can't recommend them enough.

One of the most important things, I think, to most people is the consistency and safety of a company. Ted has been out on every service call and he is always professional and extremely nice. I am comfortable with him being in my home with just my son and I. On a side note, my 85 lb Bulldog Deizel who has previously not let the cable nor phone service men in my home allows Ted to walk around unbothered. Also, he is technically up to date. My receipts come via email, I can pay online, and using my online account I can view upcoming service dates. Best of all, I like supporting a local business where I meet the owner and he actually cares about his customers instead of using a big name where I feel like a bothersome number.
