I thought it was a little on the high side. I've never had a cuckoo clock worked on so maybe its a fair price. I wasn't overwhelmed with their service. I would go back if my cuckoo went wrong but there isn't a whole lot of areas for me to go. This was the first time I ended up using them.

Watch was dropped-off on 22 May for repair/servicing.  After 2 visits and 3 phone calls the watch was picked-up on 8 July without having been serviced.  It's unclear if the shop doesn't do watch service/repair or there was just more pressing work they were doing.  Regardless the lack of follow-up and customer service will preclude me from using that shop in the future.

While Certified Clock did acquire the motors and replaced them within a few days of receiving them, the time lag between drop off and pick up and the lack of communication is what I dinged them on.  I dropped the clock off on 03/24/15.  I called on 03/27/15 and George (the owner) they said it seemed to be working fine.  I explained what was happening again and he said he would get back with me.  I called on 04/02/15 when I had not heard back and George said the clock started doing what I told him it was doing about a half hour after I had called and that he had a call into Howard Miller to see if they had the motors available (because this was an older clock).  I called back on 04/07/15 and was told the parts had been ordered.  I called back on 04/17/15 and the gentleman who answered said that some stuff came in from Howard Miller, but he wasn't sure if my parts were in or not and George was out on a call.  He would call me back later.  I called again later that day and was told that my parts had not come in yet.  On 04/22/15 George called me and said the clock was ready for pick up.  I had to initiate all calls up to that one, which is why I gave a poor score on responsiveness and punctuality.  George was always nice, friendly, and  professional, as was the other gentleman, but responsiveness is definitely lacking a bit.

We are new to Florida and were very leery about taking our family heirloom wall clock to just anyone.
My Grandfather built this clock 40 years ago and it holds a lot of sentimental value.
Based on Angie's List referral we chose Certified Clock Shop.
I dropped off the clock and instantly knew they would take great care of the clock.
Their attention to detail and delicate handling of the clock put my mind at ease.
They called a few days later with a quote for repair and the clock was ready a week later.
I picked up the clock and was thrilled to see the clock working perfectly, and I had a watch battery replaced.
The clock is working beautifully and we are am thrilled.

Went well, George came out to the house, looked things over made his recommendations.
We had the clock repaired and service within a week.
