Unfortunately I can not recommend this company. The owner lives in my neighborhood and is a friendly guy with good pricing, so I hired them for multiple projects around my house. There is a serious lack of communication between the laborers and the management. The windows as a product are great (the price was fair also), but they did not patch any of the stucco that they knocked off pr fix drywall they scratched and dented. As the person installing the windows, wouldn't you note any areas that you damaged during install, relay that to the management, and schedule a time to come back and fix it? I consider that good business practice. The Paver patio and screened porch is a different story. First off, I was never presented with a blueprint or plan for the porch. I didn't know the design and materials. I trusted that I would have a nice, up to date, functional porch. What I got is bare bones. There is not even a splash guard to keep the rain from splashing inside the porch when it rains. I grew up in Florida and have had screened porches on all of my houses. That is an essential component of a screened porch. The overall craftsmanship of the construction of the porch was terrible. I had to call them back on 3 separate occasions to tighten bolts, cover scratches, repair screens, and add end caps to areas. The workers who installed the porch littered my back yard with cigarette butts (I have children) and a concrete washout, which stayed there until long after the project was finished. They didn't cut the aluminum to the proper size, so I had to have them come and caulk lots of joints. Their answer for everything was to add caulk to it. I would have rather paid more for a more sturdy porch, that is done right the first time by a more skilled laborer. To be fair, they made multiple attempts to mitigate the issues that I brought to them. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship behind the installation and materials that they used made it impossible to remedy the situation fully. I still have stucco chips, drywall scratches, and a porch covered in caulk. I feel it necessary to share my experience. Nothing personal against the owners or managers. They tried. Their prices are fair, but the labor and skill that you get on the back end if by far sub-par. For the amount of money I spent with them, I expected much more.

Terrible! I contracted with Cane Construction in early February 2018 for the new impact windows, sliders , & Impact front doors. They were installed in late April. The installation went ok. Some screws weren't installed in the windows, clean up was very poor. Some pieces came damaged on the sliding doors & missing on the front double doors. Unless I called, communication with CCI was very poor. There was damaged sliding door pieces & a bent window screen. After the county inspection CCI sent a serviceman around 6pm mid May to install the trim pieces. He was able to install the sliding door trim & sliding window trim However eight of the other windows he claimed the trim was damaged & not enough trim was sent. He took pictures & said the trim would be ordered. He didn't finish the double front door trim & covering the screw holes. After several calls CCI said they would send a serviceman out on July 3rd. No show & no call. A serviceman did show a few days later & installed the damaged pieces on the sliding doors. He took pictures again of all the window trim that is messed up and missing. It is now August 13th and still no CCI & the front doors & windows are still not done! Three and a half months from installation and the job is still incomplete. Angie's List had them at an A rating. There is no way I could recommend the company.
