Terrible. He did the backyard, trimmed the Oak in front, and never completed the Laurel tree removal. Yet he asked for FULL payment because he did the work the day before Hurricane Irma and said "banks may be closed". I told him please don't screw us over and please finish the job after the hurricane. Yes, I paid him in full. Not only did he not finish (Laurel is still standing) but now he has our money, I talked to people about him and there are literally 4 other people he has done this to; done a partial job asked for full payment (to pay his workers and RENTAL equipment is my guess) but he never comes back. He puts you off, he makes excuses, then finally, he just blows you off and ignores you. I reported this to Pinellas County and they spoke to him. He finally, months later, said he would "get a check in the mail" for my refund for the Laurel tree that day. That was November. Today is almost mid-January and nothing. At this point it'll be civil court as the next step as I have his quote which includes the removal of the Laurel tree, and I also have written support from the county that he admitted he needed to provide a refund. He told the woman from the county he would "get a check out immediately"... that was weeks ago. Nothing. He just pacifies people and eventually just ignores them altogether. Please, please don't use him. He is not a man of ethics and does not keep his word. It wasn't just me; it was a few of us he's done this to and I'm sure he will continue. Bottom line: Do not pay him in full until the work is completed, if you hire him at all.
