"Chris A[Consumer name withheld at their request] purchased a Hydronix 5 stage Reverse Osmosis system from me in February 2016. In its 4th year Something broke on the system and it leaked. Chris needed to blame someone, so he is blaming me the Service man. Prior to this he gave me many compliments on the installations of his whole house system which required a custom installation into a bump out in his garage. It is picture perfect work. Sometimes things break. I carry a 2-million-dollar liability policy on my work if I make a mistake. I didn't make a mistake, so I had no basis for a claim. His system had a Manufacture warranty From Hydronix for three years. It is hard to deal with a person that just wants to blame. Why Chris's unit leaked I don't know. Thousands of under sink leaks occur daily in the united states from Vibrations, garbage disposals, dishwasher hook ups, drain systems, filters and Faucets and just wear and tear form use and the environment. That is why we carry homeowners insurance. I have been awarded the "best of Home Advisor Pro for two years in a row and I have elite service awards. All my other Google reviews are excellent. I carry a Comprehensive General Liability Policy to cover if I make a mistake. I couldn't find any mistakes I made in the installation and annual Service Of Chris's system. According to the service records on April 3rd 2017 during a regular filter service a drip was found on one of the pre-filter canisters and the O-ring was replaced. The system was allowed to pressure up twice and checked for leaks non were detected by with a 20-volt lithium LED light. The system was put back under the sink and Chris was instructed to check for leaks before he went to bed and first thing in the morning and call me if he found any leaks. On March 28th, 2018 regular service call according to the service record the unit was removed from under the sink the three filters pre-membrane were changed. The unit was double pressured checked for leaks non were detected with a 20 volt lithium LED light and put back under the sink. Chris was instructed to check for leaks before he went to bed and first thing in the morning and call me if he found any leaks. On April 10th 2019 regular service call according to the service record the unit was removed from under the sink the three filters pre-membrane were changed. The unit was double pressured checked for leaks non were detected with a 20 volt lithium LED light and put back under the sink. Chris was instructed to check for leaks before he went to bed and first thing in the morning and call me if he found any leaks. So the system was checked 12 times for leaks during the last three service years Six by me personally and six by Chris if he followed instructions. There are many leak detectors available on Amazon and Thousands of leak detectors have been sold to people like Chris.. It is not Industry Standard to sell Leak detectors. This is the first time in 21 years I have seen a leak cause damage and mold. I don't sell the Hydronix Reverse Osmosis Systems anymore and I give everyone a free Leak Detector. I am very Sorry Chris and Marilyn Altmansberger Had this problem?I installed a system in Chris's Neighbors House directly across the street last Wednesday. I told them about Chris's leak and they said these things happen that is why you have Home owners insurance. They were very impressed with the install. I was Highly recommend to them."

"I have Twenty testimonials here at home advisor all awesome good. This man Two jobs two days fair price excellent work. I installed a lowes whirlpool whole house filter on Saturday for this man for $299, average install cost $299-$650. His plumbing was a mess and consisted of multiple types of pipe, pvc scjhedule 40, pvc schedule 80 and cpvc, it was a mess. He had bad plumbing coming out of a block wall. It had a leaky shut off valve that leaked when it was turned off. He did not know where his outside city shut off was I dug out one in ground box that had filled up with dirt in his yard that he showed me but the shut off wasn't there. The city came out on Monday and found a buried box which had a working shut off valve. To replace his leaking shutoff valve I had to Drill holes into the block wall and chisel out masonry to have enough room to put in new fittings that would accommodate the new plumbing needed after removing his leaking shut off valve. I charged him $299 for parts and labor."
