Mixed review. I have been using Morello for 4 years without previous problems, so I want to be fair. Original routine maintenance was scheduled from 2-5. I do not recommend this late time slot. By 4 pm, no one showed. Called office. Was told by customer service "don't worry about it. You still have another hour. If he has a problem, he'll let you know." Absolutely no effort by office personnel to check to see if there is a problem with technician's current job. By 4:55, still no show. Called office. Closed and voicemail message only. At 6:30, received call from tech that he finally was able to finish a problematic service call and was on his way. I responded that I had already left the building for another important appointment. Called to re-schedule the next day. Absolutely no initiative by "customer service" on next day to reach out to me regarding missed appointment. I had to take the initiative to re-schedule. Tech came on time for second appointment but discovered that fan motor on one of two units needed replacement. At first, he believed that I was covered by warranty but then determined that I was not covered because I was not the original owner, so replaced motor was $850 and not the original $150-200 originally quoted. Took another week for motor to arrive and for work to be done. Another tech came to replace motor. He had serviced me before and was very efficient. The only problem was that he discovered the fan itself was subject to corrosion (across the street from the ocean, so salt air beats these a/c units to death--beware beachsiders!). Took the fan back to shop for repair as it would have taken even more time and money to order a new fan. Returned with refurbished fan by end of workday and all was well that ended well, but the entire experience was very mixed. Office personnel needs more training in acceptable customer service. Their performance was very poor overall.

It went well(in answer to your question);  the tech arrived promptly, went thru his "diagnostic", told me it was the thermostat, and it needed to be replaced.

I agreed he should replace the thermostat;  he did, and my system began working as it should.

I thought the price the tech quoted me was high, but I was so happy to have air again, I didn't think about it.

 Until I received their bill!!!  $224.00 !!  I took a look:  Charge for diagnostic:  $49.00;  charge for non-programmable thermostat:  $175.00!!!  I went online, and I went to Home Depot:  the price for a non-programmable thermostat averaged $50.00.

So where does Morello get off, charging $175.00 for a thermostat that sells for $50.00  !!!

Understand, please, I have used Morello for 20 years;  I always thought he was high-priced, but he did the job.

But now, I am looking at price a little more seriously.

We have a service contract with them. There were no problems when they came out last. I know that there are other places that are lower, but we have been with them so I have not changed. I do not think I had any problems with them.

They were professional and reasonable price.  After the service was performed I looked over the work done first in the house there was cut off pieces of pipe left on the floor and dryer, aluminum tape stuck on floor in laundry room I had to scrap off. Next was outside the installers started removing wrong heat pump cutting legs off and reattached new ones I do not know if they discharged Freon or not. So I will have to see if their service in 6 months is better.

he repaired the immediate problem with the fan and then did a check on the rest of the system. all went smoothly and professionally.

My uncle has used him for 15 years, and he will not use anybody else. They take good care of him because he is a senior citizen. We have a contract with them. We don't pay for material, we just pay the one time fee. He had to do some extra work today. He said he would be there between 12 and 1 and he was there. The gentleman we had today was perfect, he was well mannered, and he took his time to explain everything to my uncle, because he is a senior citizen.

Richard arrived on time and went straight to work. He was professional and informative. He diagnosted the problem in short order, after taking pressure readings on the unit. He explained the what needed to be changed to remedy the problem. He gave us a quote of $680 for parts and labor. We agreed to the work and will have them complete the job when the parts come in.

Both office and field personnel have been punctual, reliable and honest throughout, not to mention very good at their job. This contractor is worth the money.

Everything was excellent!

We have not had any problems with them. All the gentlemen who ever come out are very cordial. The job is always done well. We could call them at any time and they would come.

Called for quote on new heating/air conditioning system. Prompt, courteous response - Quoted several options and units. After making a selection, scheduled installation very quickly. Installers prompt, courteous, and professional. Also scheduled air duct cleaning. Very neat and thorough. Impressed with this company and would definitely recommend them.

He provided a good service we were very satisfied.

They are very good. Always call to let us know they are coming out. We have always had excellant service with the them. They are a very good company. We use them all the time.

I feel this is a very poor business practice, not providing service for the life of the product they sell. I would not purchase any additional products from this company for this reason.

They will have to replace the air conditioning unit, but I need to wait. There is some issue with the warranty of the unit. So, the work is on hold. They were fantastic. They came out and they did not make a mess. They came out when they were supposed to and did what they were supposed to. It made a big difference. They were very efficient and professional. They came out right away. Their price was fine for the work done. I would use them again in the future.

I have a contract with this company and they have always done good work. They are professional and knowledgeable.

Absolutly no problems. I have had Mike Morello Inc. service for 10 years and have never regretted the decision. They have been in Flagler County a long time and are the best in the business.

Other homeowners have paid as much as $8000 for replacement units from other HVAC businesses/manufacturers. The unit was replaced immediately, effectively with a completely professional approach.

Our a/c service technician identified white mold in one of our air conditioning systems and arranged for a sister company to clean the system two days later. He estimated it would take 5-6 hours and quoted a price of $400, which seemed reasonable for a day's work. The work was performed by two young men, one of whom had limited experience and English language skills, in 3 hours. The team leader explained the scope of work and how they would go about it. They were careful to avoid making any mess and did no damage to carpets or paint work.

CONTRACTOR WAS VERY EASY TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. HE WAS VERY TIMELY AND COMPLETED HIS WORK VERY EFFICIENTLY. HE CHANGED THE FILTER AND ADJUSTED THE THERMOSTAT AS WELL AS CHECKED THE LINES FOR LEAKS.
