The talented Mr. Levitsky and wife Natasha have brought 6 (formerly beautiful) chairs back to life! Each one of them was damaged in some way during moves, both recent and long ago. One of the cane backs had a huge hole in it. Every chair had slashes and gouges from being tossed in the moving van. Many years ago, I sold furniture for Henredon, Century and other beautifully made furniture makers, including the chairs Mr. Levitsky repaired. They now look exactly as they did on the showroom floor. Scratches - gone, cane back - perfectly repaired, color - restored to its exact shade, even the foot glides are superior. I found his prices to be very fair and work was completed in a timely manner; AND, he stayed in touch through the process. Repair of these chairs has long been a project I hoped to complete, but have had a challenging time finding someone who could do this type of quality work. I am so grateful to have my furniture restored so beautifully.

I was amazed at the responsiveness of Mike Levitsky. He returned my call within 30 minutes, then picked up my chair in St. Augustine the same evening. I thought he did an excellent job and I would give him a 5 star. We have 5 dining chairs and a bar stool that was broken so I called in Mr. Levitsky and he came out the same day. He said he needed reinforcement and he could have it back in a couple of days. He wasn't exaggerating, he literally brought it back 2 days later. He not only fixed all of them, but he also replaced all the screws on the seats, free of charge. If you are an antique lover and need repairs, Mike Levitsky is the man to see. He and his lovely wife, Natasha, just restored a very, old ugly, good for the dump only, travel trunk for me. They somehow obtained the original trimmings, repaired hinges and locks. It is now a beautiful , colorful , useable trunk, that would grace anyone's home décor. They also refurbished a 5 legged , drop leaf, oak wood Table. It was painted a green color, raw wood, wheels that would not roll, some missing, and was in very bad condition, very rickety and unusable. It is now a very beautiful dark sleek and shiny dinning oak table. They literally take it apart ,piece by piece and re-glue, repair and replace it to its original quality! We found Mr. Levitsky on line and based on the reviews had him come to the house to look at the rocker and see if he could fix it. He said, yes, no problem. And indeed he came through for us. You cannot even see the repaired area and he also cleaned up the finish on the chair itself. The price was fair, although at the top of what we thought it might cost, but when you factor in pick up and delivery as well as the quality of the work it was well worth it. My grandfather was a fine furniture maker and he would be very impressed with the finished product! We would hire again without hesitation.

The service was provided in a timely manner and the work was high quality. The items were picked up and dropped off from my home as planned. I would definitely use Levitsky Furniture Repair again. I would highly recommend them. The job was done when promised with excellent material and workmanship.

At first we thought the price was a little high, but when Mr Levitsky brought the items back, the repairs were so well done that we quickly dropped that notion. Everything was done beautifully, we are so glad that we used his services. The round table was repaired and restored, the leather top looks spectacular. There were some broken and missing pieces that he replaced, and we can't even tell they were once missing. The dining table had a large split/crack in one of the leaves, and we can barely find it. If we didn't know it was done, we wouldn't even notice it, almost invisible. All of the nicks, scratches, and gouges are gone. Great job Mr. Levitsky. Also the work was done in a very timely manner, picked up from us before hurricane Matthew, and returned shortly after.

Mr. Levitsky came to my house and quoted me a fair price. After giving him a deposit, Mr Levitsky took the base to his shop for repair. After about a week, Mr. Levitsky delivered a the base back to me. The base was solid and repaired well. 

Better than expected. I knew from experience that the Levitskys delivered quality work, but my sideboard had a chunk missing from one corner.

Mike Levitsky's work is amazing! Classic example of "you get what you pay for." He charges top dollar but you will have a treasure when the work is complete. The pieces he restored for my mother were in terrible shape. She is thrilled with the result knowing they will be kept in the family. He is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work.

The chair was picked up at the time set and returned a week later on time.  Couldn't have gone better.

the quality of the work was amazing!  mr. levitsky is a true artisan with wood.  we all would use him again and again.

Mr. Levitsky called me with a few hours of my messAge. He arrived at the agreed to time. He provided me a quote and estimate of time to repair that were reasonable. And happily, he noticed the chair back had a stress fracture, that I had not noticed, so I now have a usable chair. Mr. Levitsky repaired my items within two day, and arrived to deliver them on time. I would definitely use him again.

Mr. Levitsky used strapping for the seat instead of wire. He made the chair much stronger.
