I had a bad capacitor that blew out at 9:00pm. The temp inside rose to 80 very quickly since it was the dead of summer. Atec came out within 30 minutes of the call but the tech didn't have the part so he joined a couple of smaller capacitors to get the unit running and cooling us down for the evening. He returned the next day with the right part, undid his handy work and installed the part to spec. He finished after 11:00pm that night because he had to go back to his shop to get the parts he needed. Who does that?

It went very well.  They were very nice and very professional.  There was no additional charge.  The price was really good.

Could not be happier with the installation of my new system. Brian's attention to detail is unmatched. This is so important in the installation and maintenance of any HVAC system due to the fact it adds years to the life of the system. I also would like to add that they were very neat and clean. Atec is the only company I would recommend for ac and heating.

It went very well and they were very reasonable.

The technicians were great. Professional, and personable. Great job! Great company! I have been doing business with Atec Air & Heating for years and wouldn't trust the mechanics of my home to anyone else.

Awesome experience!  Brian is just a wonderful guy!  We had to replace a really crappy (and cheap) AC unit after purchasing a home, and Brian just did an excellent job for us.  He is honest, professional, and tells you like it is.  I would never use any other AC company ever again!  We have also used ATEC Air for our yearly tune-ups, and those guys have been great too!  (We are super picky about keeping our home clean and even make people wear shoe covers when they come inside; but these guys have always been very easy-going with this and always professional.)  Everything has just been wonderful!  If anyone in Palm Coast is looking for an honest and reliable AC Company that doesn't try to screw you over and charge you for stuff you don't need, this is the guy!  :)

One of the rental houses needed a new install of an air cooling system before a new tennant moved in on June 1 2013.
I had previous experience with Atec that had a positive outcome so I called them for the job estimate. The pivot point was the install date, it had to be done by June 1 without delay.
They went over to check out the size of the house on  May 20th, called me with the estimate and the work was scheduled for May 28th.
The work was completed without delay and everything seemed to be going well.
There has since then been 1 occassion for a service consult that had to do with a clogged pvc pipe probably due to all the rain recently and their response was quick and efficient. The service tech was able to talk the resident through the process to resolve the problem without delay. When I called Atec, I was reassured tht all was covered under warranty and they would address the issue ASAP.
So for both installs and followup, I was really pleased with the service of this company.

I received a call from the residents of the rental house that the cooling unit was not blowing cold air and that it was about 85 in the house.
It took awhile to find someone to return my call at all as the busy season was in full swing.
Atec Air was the 1st to return my call; in the interim I had scoped out the cooling units at the big box stores to get an idea of features and prices so I would know what questions to ask and understand what I was being told at the consultation.
When the service van and crew made it to the house within 48 hours, thet took the time to explain what was wrong with the entire cooling system at the house and not just the cooling unit. The current unit had repair stickers on it from previous service calls and it still was not working properly; the duct work was in need of a 'good' cleaning, had a hole the size of a softball in the venting pipe and the electical tripping threshold in the attic had 'issues'. After some back and forth, I decided more parts and labor costs were probably good money after bad because of the age of the unit and not going to resolve the problem completely, so a replacement unit was in order.
The service tech did an audit to determine the size of the unit that would be needed and applied to the town for the approprite permits. There were 2 issues that were a wrinkle; 1st, the shipment of the new unit and parts was delayed, then some wrong parts were sent and the delay was extended. Secondly, the town was slow in issuing the permit so the install was further delayed.
 
When the unit did get installed, the service was very good. They demonstrated the features of the controls to the tennants and thoroughly cleaned and repaired the venting and electrical problems. The unit they installed has a 10 year warranty on the parts and the labor is warranteed for 2 years which is a unique PLUS ! A 1 year maintenace agreement was included in the price also.
Once the delays were resolved, I was very pleased with the service.

The two men who performed the service were very professional and courteous.  They explained clearly what they did and gave us recommendations for keepinmg our AC syastem operating effixciently.  We were very happy with their work, and will use them for future inspections and repairs.

We switched companies to ATEC because of reviews we were hearing and we are thrilled we did.  They have good quality work, dependable service and great customer service.

Came out at the scheduled time. Checked my system. Gave me the opportunity to decide if it was worth fixing or if we should replace it. We went with replacement and he explained the cost, rebates, and benefits of our decision. Scheduled the work for the following morning. Following day they came out and replaced my unit. Everyone was very nice and courteous. They left the area neat and explained everything to me.
