Alex Sarria didn't return and grind my stumps after cutting down the trees.

WELL, ACTUALLY A.M.S. LANDSCAPES BUTCHERED MY TREE. THERE ARE HARDLY ANY LEAVES REMAINING ON MY TREE. I HAD REQUESTED THAT THEY TRIM ABOUT 3 FEET FROM TOP OFF AND BRING IN THE SIDES ABOUT 3 TO 4 FEET. MY TREE LOOKS PITIFUL AND IT MAY NOT RECOVER. I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY STEVE CUT OFF THE BRANCHES ABOUT 3 FEET AWAY FROM THE TREE ALL THE WAY UP. WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY HE DID NOT USE AN EXTENSION LADDER OR A SMALL CHAINSAW ON A POLE, HE SAID THAT HE DID NOT HAVE ONE. SO, HE CUT THE TREE OFF FROM WHERE HE COULD REACH IT WHILE HANGING ONTO THE TRUNK OF THE TREE!!! HE NEVER DID REMOVE ALL THE DEBRIS. OTHER LANDSCAPING SERVICES HAVE BEEN MAKING PHOTOS OF MY TREE---MY NEIGHBOR SAID IT IS BECAUSE THEY WANT TO SHOW HOW NOT TO PRUNE A TREE. HE IS A VERY NICE MAN BUT HE DOES NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT TREE PRUNING.

Failed to follow up. did not finish the project, refused to answer his phone or respond to emails. provided mulches full of carpenter ants and refused to take responsibility for it. Mr. Alex brings shame to all us Veterans, by not stand behind out core values. I was willing to work with him, but his professionalism and ethics are deplorable. google his other reviews the pattern continues. Avoid like a plague.

The job was done professionally by Alex and Stephan and their crew of 5 of the most decent, caring professionals. They were very concerned about minimizing damage to my roof while removing the huge tree that fell on it. Due to their having the best suited equipment for the job, and taking the time to carefully strategize, their exceptional teamwork ultimately saved me thousands in non-covered roof expenses and other repairs. I will use their other division that does pavers when I'm ready as the pictures of the paver jobs they've done equally shows their style of pride in workmanship and superior work ethic. 

Alex contacted me when I put a job that I needed done on Thumbtack.com. The price was right so I went for it. He asked for over 50% up front for materials, but I didn't think anything of it because I was getting sucha "good deal". He was a no call no show 14 times, he was late when he did come and the job that was supposed to take "one or two days" was never completed despite coming to my house 4 times. He and his crew cleared grass at either side of my driveway, compacted it, put some base down, (sand and stones) and placed some pavers that were not the color I ordered on the left side of my driveway( I ordered grey per my HOA and he gave me earthy toned pavers). He also dug some grass out of the back yard and put in a footer for my future covered patio, and put some of the base down, he did not compact the back. He asked me for more money that day and I told him I'd like to stick to our contract which says the rest will be paid upon completion. He was a no call no show 5 times before he stopped responding to texts and phone calls. Channel 9 news has sent him a letter, my lawyer has sent him a letter and we never heard anything from him again. There is a complaint of the BBB he never resolved and there were multiple negative reviews about him not giving refunds when they were promised. I have had a few contractors come our to finish the job and they were wondering if I put the pavers down myself due to the poor quality and lack of design of the ones he did do.

We pay about $65, $70 a month. They are excellent.
