Monte's Tree Service

Have used twice before with no real complaints, however, this time is the last time. Asked Ashley (their surly receptionist) for a hurricane cut on my coconut palms, crew came and cut the palms but didn’t do hurricane trim, crew Forman stated "you didn’t ask for a hurricane cut". I called Ashley to verify , which she did, she said she would contact crew. Crew Forman comes to our front door and in an aggressive manner he asks my wife "what’s the problem?’ I then came outside and explained the cut we wanted, Bobby, the crew Forman, advised against it. I didn’t think it was worth a confrontation, so I just said "fine" and went inside. Also crew did not clean up well after and they crushed several bushes and plants while doing the job. Fast forward one week and two of the three palms are dead , asked the owner of Monty’s to stop by and evaluate, he did , he claims they were struck by lightning. Lesson learned, do not use this ‘service” again.

They did a good job. We had a palm that had a ficus growing on it. They didn't remove the ficus, but that's not bad. I was there during the job and they were cautious enought not to cut it and came back after I called. They did try to charge me but later retracted the charge.

Overall Montes tree service is the best.

We call Monte's Tree Service when we have to have the palm trees and oak trees taken care of. They are professional.

He did great work. He showed up on time. There was no mess and no problems at all. He was very good.
