New to owning a pool, I have visited several stores in our local area looking for direction on how to care for our pool. Most want to sell me a monthly service or generally don't want to help in great detail. Dump this, buy this, and come back next week so I can sell you another $50 worth of Chemicals is what I experienced.
Leslie's Pool in Palm City, has been just the opposite experience to all the other establishments I had visited. Now there is not much to caring for a pool once you understand the process, the chemicals and what constitutes general maintenance. Not knowing anything about pools, this store's manager has taken the time to explain all the above to me. By following the direction of the other local Pool supply store, I ended up with a slim green embarrassment of a pool and out a couple hundred $$'s. But with explanation and guidance from this local Leslie's, we now have a pool we can use and I understand what it takes to keep it there.
