It went great. Steve Strait is a straight shooter. He said it was only the fan motor that died. He ordered the correct motor from the original equipment manufacturer, cleaned up and fixed much of the rest of the system and minor problems that he found needed it, and repaired everything in short order. For about 10% of what the other guys wanted.

The service was performed on a rental property that I own. The A/C was not cooling well. I had already checked all the obvious potential causes (dirty filter, dirty coil, clogged condensate line, etc.). Upon setting up the service call, I requested that the technician call me upon the diagnosis, prior to performing service. That did not happen. After my tenant informed me that the technician had already come and gone, I left a message at the main office and asked them to call me back and let me know what service was performed and what the bill would be. That did not happen either. I later received a bill for $120 with a note from the technician indicating that he added a pound of R22 and that the and quot;condenser is going bad, recommend replacing entire system if problem continuesand quot;. The diagnosis of theand quot;condenser going badand quot; is entirely inconsistent with the corrective action of adding a pound of R22 to the system! Also, I know what to look for, and there is absolutely no physical evidence to suggest that the condenser coils are and quot;going badand quot;. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and the apparent inconsistency of the recommendation to and quot;replace the entire systemand quot;, when in fact it appears that there is simply a need to find the slow leak in the system and fix it! By the way, the entire A/C system is only about 8 years old!

They are excellent. They did not charge me the for the second visit, which I thought was good. I have two AC units and he even checked the other without charging me, which I thought was fair.

The two men that came arrived on time and worked quickly. They were working in a tight space as our air handler is in the closet.  They removed the coil, brought it outside, thoroughly cleaned it and then reinstalled it. It took about 2 hours. The previous estimate for the exact same job was $550.00 so I was very pleased and would reccomend them to anyone in the area for air conditioning work. I am very happy to have found them.
