The experience went perfectly. I checked Angie's List and found Water Heating Experts, as their reviews were excellent and they were located a couple miles from my home. I called and spoke with Eric, the owner, and advised him that our water heater was leaking. He set up an appointment for the next day and arrived timely. He is a very nice guy and did a great job with the installation of the new 50 gal. Rheem electric hot water heater and expansion tank. I really appreciate his professionalism and the quality of work performed. The price was very good for the job performed. I highly recommend this company.

Great! Eric went out of his way to alleviate my leaking water heater before he had even picked up my new one! Greatly appreciated! He and his assistant were very professional and completed the entire job within hours of me first contacting him. Would highly recommend and rehire again.

Outstanding workmanship and conscientious. Removed old tank after draining and after installation of new tank, cleaned up completely. Extremely professional in providing comprehensive quotation with full description of all alternatives. Other plumbers contacted didn't even know about some of the alternatives Erik suggested. Extremely pleased.

The owner came out and diagnosed the problem with the thermostat. He brought parts to replace both the Thermostat and/or the Elements. He gave me a price to do just what was needed, the Thermostat, but then gave me a fair price to replace everything since he was already there. He was timely, cleaned up after himself, and was knowledgeable and fair. Work took about 1+ hours. I would hire again, or refer him. Small single man operation, but honest, and got the job done same day as phone call. Thanks.

My 74 year old wife called for water heater replacement after power surge following Hurricane Irma took out the existing one. Contractor pulled permit to replace water heater. When installed blocked existing electrical outlet. Installation did not pass inspection as no electrical shut off within 6 feet. Contacted owner who said he was not aware of code. This is why we hired a licensed professional, so installation would be correct, to code and legal. Stated that he "assumed" electric connection was to code. Stated that it was not possible for him to know all code requirements. Stated house was not up to code. Home built in 1963 and met all code at time of construction as required by law. Company owner stated that he accepted "full responsibility". When asked when proper installation would be complete so water heater would pass inspection stated that he is a plumber...not an electrician...it was not his problem that installation did not pass inspection. Contractor stated we just wanted to get money out of him. Reminded him that as a licensed Contractor he was responsible for proper installation.Contractor also stated that he should have said that if additional electrical work was need he was not responsible but he did not. He accepted "full responsibility" however refused to take any action to remedy situation. Will be contacting Florida Department of Professional Regulation and U.S. Attorney's office for the Southern District of Florida as an entity that acted to ..."re-victimize, defraud, or exploit individuals and businesses in need". Updated 1/18/2020 This is my second review as I have found more problems. I need to replace my washing machine. The water heater was installed jammed against the washer plug in the electrical outlet. Unable to unplug washer. 12 inch hoses were stretched to the max. 18 inch hoses, such as those I just bought are what was required for proper installation. I will also need to replumb the copper relief line. So basically I need to redo all of the "Experts" installation work except for the electrical which did not pass inspection and I corrected, and of which they stated they are not responsible for knowing the building code for the city they do licensed work in. Avoid this cost cutting contractor, nice water heater, unacceptable installation. Photos available upon request.

Eric was extremely professional, prompt and courteous. He removed my old water heater, which took some effort to empty out the water, and helped me pick up the new one from the store. He went out of his way to ensure I got the correct one for the exchange. When installing the new one, he noticed that my hoses were bad and he installed brass pipe as part of the installation. He cleaned everything up and brought his own vacuum to clean up the water from the old water heater. The entire job went very and the water heater works great!
