My window is still leaking after being caulked 4 times since installation in 2009.  Whenever I call the office there is always an attitude from whomever you encounter on the telephone.  Each time a service man comes to do repairs I learn that the one who came before is no longer there.  I have spoken with 5 managers in as many years.
As stated before the leak has been repaired 4 times at no charge.  Now I am being told that if I want a service call I must pay $200.00 just to have someone come to my home.
My biggest regret is that I did not check with the County as to it's history with this provider.

This job was finally just completed last year in 2012.  Almost 5 years to get final inspection passed by the city.
First the workers had left large gaps between the concrete and frames needing them to be all removed and reinstalled.
Had a leak in 2 walls because they did not caulk the exterior properly and then would not pay for damaged drywall and mold even though they promised that they would.
Had a lien placed against my home because they had not paid for the lift truck.
Countless and countless lost days at work waiting for service people that never showed up.

I made a deposit of one-half the cost of the job and as stated stated, at the time the windows were to be installed, the permit was not even applied for. Each time I called, there was a different story.  The installation was done by someone who had finished his training one year earlier.  The work was sloppy and I had to point out areas that were not properly sealed.  The job failed on the first inspection. Approximately a year later there were leaks. I was able to, after three months, have the leaks correct.  I have have leaks since then and, this time, it was resolved within 6 weeks.

Installation was excellent. Worker were professional. The owner of the company told us he was a "Participating Contractor" with the My Safe Home Florida agency which would enable us to get back up to 50% of the monies paid. It turns out that not only did he sign the states forms that we submitted as a participating contractor (fraud), but he also kept telling us afterward that he would take the 4 hour test to be a particpating contractor so that we could get reimbursed by the state...turns out he never applied to the state and just kept stringing us along. I now have to go to small claims court and try and get the 50% reimbursement from him...Mr. Scott Berman, Owner of Florida Window Company.
