Very professional and knowledgeable.
He will now do all our pool work.
Tim came out a week prior and helped to get our pool running smoothly. We knew our pumps were in bad shape and he cleaned the pool, got the pumps running better and explained how the pool filters and pumps worked. He didn't even charge for the first time he came out knowing he had to come back! Very honest!
I felt very confident he knew what he was doing. I also felt he wasn't going to upsell me on things I did not need. He went straight to work the day the parts came in and had our pumps working better than they have in years.
We now have PGA Pools doing our weekly maintenance on the pool also.
This is a jewel of a company. Fair price, speedy response and honest work.
We are in need of a heater soon too and I will ONLY trust PGA Pools to advise, order and install our heater.
I went out, pulled it apart, cleaned the impeller, and put it back together.
It still didn't work.
I called "Bill" at PGA Pools, expecting to schedule a service call.
He said "go take the cartridges out of the filter, and try running it that way before we schedule an appointment. I'd hate to see you spend money when you don't have to."
I took his advice, tried it, and it worked! All I needed was some new cartridges.
Thanks, Bill. I'll refer PGA Pools any time!
I paid $312 for the job, start to finish. The pool place in Jupiter I called for an estimate told me it would cost $519.
I called PGA pools. I told them I needed a new pool pump motor. They asked me the horsepower of the motor. I told them to hold on while I went and looked. It was 1HP. They said it would be $312. One of their technicians came out while I was at work, fixed the pump, sent me a bill and it was done.
No muss. No fuss. Just the way I like it.
after from Tim, the owner. He came out the next day while I was not
home to check the unit and we later spoke about the solution to the
problem. Told me he could be out in two days to replace the unit and
gave me a price. He showed up on time and finished quickly. Tim then took the time to explain how the unit worked. The bill
came in exactly as we had discussed. Would highly recommend this
company.
He was apologetic for taking longer than he expected due to the differences in our pumping system compared to more modern installations. He was able to locate the problem and fix it.
