 + -1 moreBUYER BEWARE OF OFFICE MAX'S HORRIBLE RETURN POLICY!!!! There other businesses that provide much better customer services.
Description of Work: Bought a paper shredder on clearance from OFFICE MAX and at check out was told in order to get a refund it must be returned within 14 days. I did not like the way the shredder worked so I returned it after 2 days completely and neatly repacked with all original packing. Was charged a 15% restocking fee because the product had been opened (how do you know if the product is any good if you don't open the product? VERY STUPID POLICY). A 15% restocking fee was NEVER mentioned at check-out when the item was purchased. This is a complete "rip-off" and terrible customer service. Buyer Beware!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS FROM OFFICE MAX!!! An extremely disgusting return policy. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go to COSTCO or SAM'S CLUB where they are much more customer friendly with a very GENEROUS return policy.
