He arrived on time. Appearance was neat and clean. Took the top off my baby grand piano and attached his electronic tuner. He manually tuned the piano with the help of the electronic tuner. He then got under the piano and reattached a heater I had that another piano tuner had removed years ago. Peter explained why in Florida it is a necessity to have this. He then cleaned the area he had been working in and left. He was efficient and the piano sounds great now. He did not try to sell me things I didn't need and understood that I will only use a tuner once a year. I would definitely plan to use him again next year and will share his name and contact information with my neighbors.

Mr. West responded immediately to my request for an appointment and accomodated my schedule. He was punctual, professional and performed the job after an explanation of the tuning process. Compared to piano tuners I have used in the past, his price was reasonable. He was honest about the status of the piano and I will happily use him again in the future.

I bought an old piano from a friend and Peter came and cleaned it, and repaired some of the keys that were stuck. He then tuned it (which takes an hour or so). It sounds so much better and will need a second tuning next week since it sat for years without being played. Peter is friendly and professional, and explained all he was doing while he worked. I am so glad to have found him on Angie's list because my and quot;oldand quot; piano sounds like a new one. It was fine, he did a good job. He was prompt, he was professional and knew what he was doing and he tuned the piano properly.

We scheduled an appointment. He called the day before to confirm. When he arrived, it was on-time. He took some time to tell me about our piano and the process he goes through to tune it. He explained that sometimes pianos can be so far out of tune that it takes two tuning sessions to get it right. In our case, the single tuning was sufficient despite it being several years since the last tuning and a couple of cross-state moves. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very helpful; a true professional. I am glad that I found him. I feel that I have a piano tuner that I can rely upon. I will be calling him again.

I called to have the piano not only tuned but to address the player portion of the piano. He had a medical condition that did not allow him to go under the piano. The interior of the baby grand was also not looked at.

Mr. West responded to my e-mail query in a timely manner. He agreed to travel a good bit further than his normal area in order to service my request. He called the morning to advise he was going to be a bit later than expected so I would not be waiting with uncertainty. He was pleasant and personable but got right to work and continued until finished some 5 hours later. He took time to explain what he was doing and provided some additional tips on how to clean, when to tune again, and the overall value of each piano. I was extremely pleased with the results as the tuning was long, long overdue . I would definitely call Mr. West again for this service and recommend him to anyone who needs piano tuning.

I called Mr. West, he was polite and professional on the phone. We scheduled a date for tuning my piano. He called the prior evening to confirm and was on time the next day. He was knowledgeable and also educated me on the different parts of the piano. He was not rude like someone else I had called previously and made me feel very comfortable while he was there. Certified comes to you to tune the piano. Certified has been coming for awhile to tune our piano. He has all of the equipment and is very thorough and does a good job. He is very personable and takes great care not to dirty up the furniture, he puts a towel down on the padded piano bench. He is organized and knows what he is doing. My ten year old daughter was interested in the piano and he took the time to explain everything to her. He also likes dogs, our dog is the only person he will go near.
