Tom Attaman's Repair

He arrives more or less on time. Usually works longer than he intends to (and doesn't charge for it, he usually does a flat daily rate). Likes to finish projects that he starts before he goes home for the evening. Works very hard and is VERY talented. A perfectionist! Seldom makes mistakes. When he was installing my flooring, he cut maybe 5 or 6 boards wrong out of a 3000 sq ft job. He may have mis-cut more, but he used those mistakes in other parts of the house to save flooring. Very creative. I always come up with my own ideas for projects and run them by him, and often end up changing my mind after consultation and end up using his ideas, or he and I work together to come up with an alternative. Like I said, super talented and creative and really cares about his craftsmanship. He is verypatient too, I'm a curious person and like to ask lots of questions. He demonstrates and explains what he is doing and will stop to answer questions cheerfully. Works really well without constant supervision. I trusted him to work inside my home when I wasn't there, and when he ran into "snags", instead of bugging me on the phone, he would figure it out himself (which was WAY UNLIKE the previous handyman I had, where I felt like I had to plan and figure out everything for him, so what was the point of having that guy do it, since I figured it out I could have done it myself. Totally DONT recommend THAT guy...but I digress....) Back to Tom....... Totally recommend this guy. Reasonably priced, can do it all.
