Demo of a quite small Master bath in our under 2k sq ft home. Removed tub, window, wall & floor tile, all plumbing & light fixtures as well as sheet rock from walls and ceiling. Each craftsman (plumber, tile, electrician, sheet rock, glass, cabinet builder & granite) came in the week prior to review the project and his plans. Steve & his guys did the demo and any framing/add on work that was needed. He scheduled the work in succession of how things should be done and created a calendar for all parties to agree on and work from. Really great thing is that it went as planned. They are on the ball! And he made the drama seen on TV shows seeningly non existent. There were a few hiccups - ie. had to move drain and water lines after the Mrs decided she wanted a ceiling shower head and glass shower enclosure - and Steve gracefully overcame the change and made it happen. He shared that the change would incur a minor change due to labor and more supplies up front and we all agreed on the changes before the change work started. Each day one or two guys came on time to do their piece and one of the things that really stood out to me is their professionalism, as I work from home and other than busting up concrete, I didn't even know they were here. The 2nd part of professionalism to us was that they left the place SPOTLESS each day after they left. The guys had to walk through our bedroom each day a hundred times. And each day when they were gone, it looked as though they hadn't been in our room. It was SPOTLESS! I suggested he start a cleaning company! Steve is a no nonsense guy and has an approach that if he feels he knows something that would suit you better than what your imagination has come up with, he'll openly share. He will not do something that will bust the budget or allow you to talk him into things he does not feel is best. I like this! For instance, we wanted to redo the tile to the 10 ft ceiling as we had before. He shared that it was not only unnecessary, it was at a greatly increased cost to do so. In effort to elaborate, he measured both with and w/o tiling to the ceiling and the savings was close to $500. That savings allowed us to get granite counters instead of the quartz we originally had priced and were going with. We highly recommend Steven John Fritzson Carpentry and his team!
