The were very responsive to my request via email - emailed very quickly and set up the survey as fast as possible. They got my completed survey in to closing agent earlier than promised when I told them we needed it. I think they care about the customer experience.

Just asked for a quote; my existing surveyor was cheaper, but because he already had an old survey on file.

Surprisingly, there were no land surveyors listed in the Melbourne, FL, Angie's List. We've been pleased with the companies on Angies List so we did a little Angie's List type of research on our own and talked to a lifelong friend and neighbor. Following his recommendation, we contacted Mr. Kevin Smith seeking a survey. Mr. Smith answered my call, discussed in detail what we were seeking, and provided an estimate that was competitive. Mr. Kevin Smith and his associate, Andy Smith arrived early for the scheduled appointment, reviewedi specs needed for the survey, and provided information and education as they carried out the survey. Since we were using the survey for a planned addition, Mr. Smith discussed the specifics of the addition so he could include the proposedd structural additions on the plat, saving us additional time and cost when the proposal was submitted to the local planning authority. Upon completion, Mr. Kevin Smith told me that the survey would be availabe the next day and called mid-afternoon the next day to tell me the work was completed. The completed survey is replete with detail and the services provided by Smith Land Surveying and Mapping Services, Inc. could not have been more professional. I hope our review will help other Angie's List members who need similar services.
