[email protected] Joe, I can see that you are genuine to what you have written on your website, ?Segura Landscaping is a trusted name in the lawn business for over 10 years and can provide the products and services you need to keep your lawn beautiful, trees and shrubs growing strong, and leave you, the customer, with the feeling that you?ve chosen a company who cares.? The rates you charged me, for an incomplete job, are unfair and borderline fraudulent. Here is why: Your rates for 2 guys raking is higher than the rates for a doctor. You?ve previously quoted me 5 pallets delivered and thrown (without leveling, @ $180 each) for $900. This is reasonable. I was charged $1,650, how do you justify charging $750 for 6 hours of raking?! That's $125 per hour while paying your 2 guys $15 an hour. I can literally pay 2 guys to rake my yard continuously for 25 hours at that rate. Your site manager is incompetent, so of course his quotes are inaccurate and his management are poor. So much so that when quoting tree removal, he could not identify (or even pronounce) most of the plants on the property. Without even a basic knowledge of the things that make up a landscape, he cannot be trusted to provide accurate information. This is aside from the fact that, in his words, he was until recently a used car salesman in your employment. Top notch. I do not work for you, it is completely unprofessional to ask a home owner to spend time directing your employees. I showed them where your salesperson spray painted the lines, if they were confused, they should have checked with someone. This is a management failure. Additionally, only one of them spoke English and he was just driving the Trax Machine so it is no surprise they didn't do the job correctly. The yard was spray painted clearly & they actually sodded over a 200 square foot section of my yard that already had sod. Ridiculous! You charged me extra and still never finished the job. Your salesperson stated you would at least deliver the remaining sod to finish the job as quoted. This was all I asked for from the beginning and it was never done, I would have even paid for the additional sod! I have attempted to resolve this issue in a civil manner. As you have resulted to insulting me on a personal, I am assuming you have no interest in doing the right thing or the smart thing, as a business person. In light of your position, I will be taking photographic evidence of your incomplete work, a review of the incident in my words, and a copy of this conversation to be filed as a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will also be sharing this same information as a review with every online site on which your company is listed. You obviously have minimal business training, so I?ll let you know that having your unethical business practices exposed to potential customers will cost you much more in lost business than just doing a job in its entirety in the first place. Good luck with your referral based business. Regards, Wyatt Hoover From:
[email protected] Sent: ?Tuesday?, ?April? ?29?, ?2014 ?7?:?24? ?AM NO WORRIES SORRY YOU FEEL YOU HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. WE DO FIX IRRIGATION HEADS BROKEN BY OUR SOD CUTTER IF THEY OPERATE BEFORE WE INSTALL SOD IF WE KNOW WHERE THEY ARE. AS FOR US DRIVING OVER THEM WITH A TRAX MACHINE WHILE BRINGING SOD TO BACK YARD WE DO NOT. THIS IS AN INDICATION OF YOUR IRRIGATION LINES INSTALLED IMPROPERLY OR TO SHALLOW. CODE IS 36INCHES WHICH IF DONE CORRECT WE SHOULD NEVER BREAK THEM BY DRIVING OVER THEM.THIS IS AN ISSUE TO BE BROUGHT UP TO YOUR IRRIGATION GUY. UNLESS YOU AS AN HOMEOWNER DID YOUR OWN AND THUS WHY WAS BROKEN. AGAIN SORRY YOU FEEL WE BROKE STUFF THAT WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED. FROM THE LOOKS OF YOUR PROPERTY YOU LOOK LIKE YOU CUT CORNERS EVERY WHERE YOU CAN. [email protected]> Joe, Thank you for your consideration. I think the confusion may have come because no one who showed up to work had been to the property and that your manager is a former car salesman with no landscaping experience. I also only had a short time to be at home before returning to work and so could not supervise your team for you. As a customer, I'm sorry you are not interested in discussing my grievances. However, I do understand you are unwilling to complete the job as quoted and that you are unwillingly to compensate for repairs to the sprinkler system that was damaged by you and your team, though your salesperson said they would be checked and repaired. I look forward to sharing this interesting experience. Have a great summer. Wyatt On Apr 28, 2014, at 6:12 PM, <

[email protected]> Hello, I?m writing to request the refund of the additional fees I was charged for a sod job earlier this month. The job took longer than expected, so Chris asked me to pay an additional $250. Unfortunately, after nearly 2 weeks, the job was never completed. There are still 2 large sections of my yard that were not sodded, these sections were included in your original estimate. Additionally, your salesman stated that all sprinklers would be checked prior to completion, as well. After your team left, I found 5 sprinklers buried under the sod and your front loader ran over and broke a line in my front yard. I?ve had to repair these at my own expense and I would like that cost to be reimbursed, as well. The job was quoted at $1,400 total. Though still not complete, I?m OK letting that stand. However, I must ask for a refund of the additional $250, as well at $125 for the repairs to my irrigation system. At your earliest convenience, please send a check for $375 to: [address removed] Thank you for your attention, I look forward to concluding this matter as soon as possible. [email protected]> Thanks for this. I?d like to move forward with just the tree removal at this point. Please let me know when I can expect the uncompleted areas to be sodded from the previous job. Give me a call to schedule. Wyatt
