Sean was thorough in inspecting, photographing, and documenting all aspects of a house we are considering purchasing.  He was very clear in describing all of his findings and answered all of our questions throughout the process.  His report was delivered the same night and contained clear descriptions and numerous useful pictures.

Sean performed an excellent home inspection. He talks to you the entire time and not only tells you what hes doing, but makes you understand why it is or isn't correct. Sean Fogarty went above and beyond with his service for our home inspection. He was very thorough and dedicated an entire day to the inspection because of the size of the house. He was able to schedule a visit within only a few days of my inquiry. His price was very comparable to the other estimates that I received by phone, but I believe his service far exceeded any experience I have had with home inspectors in the past.
He met with me in person during the inspection and pointed out various issues that he identified, and he also provided a very professionally produced and detailed report with pictures for documentation after his work was complete. He identified various issues for repair as well as various issues that we should monitor or maintain as future owners of the home. Most importantly, he uses thermal imaging to look for problems behind walls. Therefore, he was able to identify a water leak inside an exterior wall that otherwise showed no external evidence of a problem. Without Sean's expertise in thermal imaging, this would never have been identified until it became a much larger problem. The homeowners agreed to allow us to remove a portion of the sheetrock in order to investigate the issue further, and Sean came back out on another day at no charge to personally look inside the wall with us. The leak had caused mold and some rotting of wood that all had to be replaced. Thankfully, the structural integrity of the wall was not compromised, and the sellers made the necessary repairs prior to closing on the house. The repair cost the sellers several thousand dollars, and had this issue progressed without Sean identifying it, it would have one day cost us as the new homeowners much, much more.
I give Sean my highest recommendation to others, and I personally would not buy another house without having Sean look at it first.

Sean Fogarty the principal of Fogarty Inspection Services Group completed the inspection for the home we are purchasing. We were unable to attend the inspection however our dtr was there. The inspection was in depth and the issues found were clearly explained and pictures where appropriate were provided. Excellent written report. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Fogarty.

They performed a radon test and home inspection with great professionalism. The report was easy to read and understand and our inspector showed great patience when we pestered him with questions and when confronted by our 2 year old. Sean Fogarty is the owner/inspector. He was prompt on his arrival and got right to work. It was very obvious from the start that he was very knowledgeable. Sean was extremely thorough and personable and had no problem with explaining things and answering my questions. He completed his work in a reasonable amount of time and provided a professionally written up inspection report with a great deal of useful detail. Sean Fogarty met me at the foreclosed property I am buying and he arrived early. His vehicle has his business name, phone and website professionally displayed, and he had lots of equipment and several ladders on board. (I found Fogarty's by his website and was impressed by his use of thermal imaging and his video clips of parts of actual inspections. It let me see how he worked before hiring him.) The inspector went way above and beyond what is required by a standard inspection. Being a single, middle-aged woman, I was thrilled he didn't try to take advantage, cut corners, or charge me more! Mr. Fogarty gave me advice on what needed repair and how to maintain things. He even spotted an issue I was having with a big water leak that a plumber I had out earlier in the day (charging me $90) had missed! He gave me info on the needed repair. He used his thermal imaging device to check several places for leaks. I can't say enough about how thankful I am to have found Fogarty Inspection Services! There's not enough space here to tell you everything extra he did, but I give Mr. Fogarty permission to give my phone number to anyone wanting a recommendation. Excellent service, great pricing; I would not go with anyone else for a home inspection!
