I dropped off my boots at the Merritt Island location to have the soles fixed and also asked them to clean the up as I wanted them to appear newer than they are. I was told that I needed to have the toe stitched and shoes buffed. I agreed since I really don't know anything about shoe repair and was happy that I'd soon get to wear my favorite (expensive) boots again.
After picking them up late (they were not ready on time and did not call to let me know) I saw that they simply stitched over the old broken stitches. The old broken stitches were left in place and the new ones looked terrible. They were not the same color and didn't even match the contour of the boot. After complaining I was told by the staff that I should have absolutely had them re-soled but they simply do what the customer asks which is why they were stitched. I would have liked to have known this when they recommended that I re-stitch the boots. To make matter worse when I showed them to my girlfriend the first thing she said was "what did they do to the toe?". I'm extremely picky, she is not, so I know this was bad work and not part of me being a perfectionist.
The clean up was not satisfactory either. Perhaps I was expecting more.
I will not be going to Brian's again which is a shame because I don't know of any other good shoe repair locations.

I took the boots in on a Monday. The woman at the counter was knowledgable and friendly. She told me that I only needed the heels replaced on my daughters leather boots( I thought I might need the sole done as well). The price was very reasonable and I was told that I would be called when they were ready, which would be 2-3 days. I was called on Thurs. morning. The boots looked great and were finished in a timely manner. I was very pleased with this business.

The soles on a pair of very dressy high heels had come unglued. The straps in the front of the shoes was also coming unglued and I wanted some cushioning put in. I explained these were for a very formal event and wondered if they could be fixed. I believe I paid $10 -$12. r. He measured so that they would be just right. He found some padding to put inside the shoe. He glued the soles and straps. He even measured the straps to make them a little wider for me, and glued in padding. He colored the padding black from the bottom so they'd blend in with my shoe, but the black would not get on my feet.. The shoes were one day later than promised originally. However, i brought another pair in when I picked up the high heels and he fixed the ones I brought in one the spot.. The business is very friendly, professional, and organized. I would recommend this business to anyone who wanted shoes repaired. They also have very inexpensive dry cleaning.

I have used this shoe repair shop many times and am always very happy with the service and quality. I usually have a question when dropping off shoes or boots to be resoled and the friendly lady at the desk always calls the gentleman who does the repairs to come to the front to answer my inquiry. He is cheerful and patient, and when picking up a pair of boots recently that had one thing that could not be fixed, he reached into the register and refunded that portion of the bill without my even asking. This has been my shoe repair location of choice in the past, but was so impressed with this kind of customer service that I really felt they deserved a great spot on Angie's List so others can find them too.
