Arbor Works Tree Experts LLC

The requested services and resulted work were:
1. Trim Purple Showers to ground and remove.
Result: Many of the stems remained after trimming. Some were cut or nicked and left laying in place. Many more were left uncut, especially by the A/C unit with some long stems left running into the A/C unit.
Action Taken: I completed the job myself.
2. Cut bushes in side yard to ground and remove.
Result: The bushes were cut and removed, but they were cut almost waist high. This left a considerable amount of the bushes behind along with long grasses that had grown up through the middle making them an eyesore.
Action Taken: I completed the job myself.
3. Remove palm from pool area so a new smaller palm can be planted.
Result: Maybe I wasn?t specific enough but all that was done was the palm was cut off and removed. What I said I wanted was the palm removed so I could plant a new smaller one. That means I wanted the root ball removed as well. Since it is within a cement enclosure it required some digging and prying out of the hole.
Action Taken: Since the trunks were removed, there was nothing to use as leverage to pry the root ball out so I was not able to remove it. Our new landscaper dug it out and planted a new tree.
4. Trim and maintain tall yard palms.
Result: I was told that they were too tall for doing from a ladder and that the ?climber? would return the following day to finish. No one arrived the next day. Two weeks, later my wife called and was assured that the ?climber? had been busy but he would be there within the next day or two to trim the palms. It has now been over 6 months and the palms have yet to be serviced.
After sending a letter to Brandon on 10/9/15, he left a note that he wanted to make good on the promises and would return soon. Now over 6 months from then, nothing has been done.
Additional/Follow-up info: A couple weeks ago, the crew leader for the above service visited me while I was washing the car. He told me about how Arbor Works used damaged/inferior ladders and he was injured, had surgery, Arbor Works dropped their insurance and now this guy was left on his own.

One particular oak looked to be near death (I am not kidding). Within weeks of Brandon pruning, cleaning, and whatever else he did to this tree; it looks healthy as can be. Foliage is coming up where the was no foliage before. He also did a great job with several palms and a magnolia.
