Steve, the owner, was a very pleasant, amicable and professional individual who was ready to satisfy the needs of the client. The men who came to install the Accordion Hurricane Shutters ; Doug, the other owner of the company, David & Doug Jr. are the best and most conscientious, dedicated workers I have encountered in a long time. They were easy going and did not mind the hundred questions I asked and even showed me how to install the shutters. These guys were the best and I would go nowhere else.

It’s been a challenge for me to find good, reliable people on the Space Coast to come work on our house. A lot of times you get a quote them, if you decide to go with a company, they never call you back or answer any correspondence at all basically just flake. Luckily for me, I found A1A Hurricane Protection. Steve and Doug came over to give me a quote. Steve emailed, texted and called me back. Steve understood that I can’t have my phone with me all day long and we worked around that. It was an awesome experience working with this company. These guys work hard to get the job done right. Our house is older construction and has some funky angles on the windows, wasn’t a problem for this company to get everything measured and installed properly. I got a quote from a different company before calling A1A, they wanted almost double for the same products. This was easy, effortless and affordable

I looked at hurricane windowsâ much more expensive. I looked at pull-down doorsâ much more expensive. Their accordion-shutter doors are great to look at, easy to lock, and double as defenses against wind and theft. They use Supernova shutters and Doug and team cut them to fit. They float along tracks at top and bottom. They cleaned out my gutters at the same time! Thank you, A1A! Warning: These shutters are securely fastened and that means the work is noisy. But they are super-quick about it. They did the two-story home in two daysâ 26 shutters, two per window or door, plus another dozen smaller windows that were covered with Lexan.

They proposed a more practical, less expensive solution than I originally inquired about. We are very pleased with the installation and workmanship. Pleasant people to deal with who aren't into the hard sale salesmanship. They manufacture their own shutters, so they make them to fit after measuring.

Doug showed up when he said he would. He answered phone calls promptly. His price was lower than any of the other 5 hurricane shutter companies I received bids from for the exact same product. He went over every detail with me and provided suggestions for several problematic areas. The shutters arrived in a reasonable time frame. There wasnâ t any mess left for me to clean up after the installation. I am 76 years old and will be able to secure my home in a matter of minutes in the event of a Hurricane as opposed to hours installing and removing the heavy steel panels nor will I have to get on ladders. In my opinion, having A1A Hurricane Protection install my new Hurricane accordion shutters was a good investment and positive experience. Jeri
