SMOKEY MOUNTAIN CABINETS

Construction and installation work was mediocre at best; now a few years later we the problems have come home to roost. Drawers that do not close and paint that is flaking off the wood.

Owner Mike Smith and salesperson Amber Johns are not to be trusted. DO NOT believe a word they say. And definitely do not give them any money. The list of issues we have had with Smokey Mountain Cabinets is far too long to list here. Feel free to contact me directly for more information and what to look out for. Whatever you do DO NOT give them any money until speaking to me or you will be doing yourself a disservice. Nearly every cabinet in our home was built the wrong size. Appliances do not fit as intended and the owner Mike Smith and salesperson Amber Johns refuse to respond to our many calls for help. The owner Mike Smith told my contractor that if we attempt to sue him he will just bankrupt the company and restart a new one to avoid repairing our issues. This is the first negative review I have left in my life. My wife and I felt extremely compelled to warn any potential clients of the owner's shady business practices.

I was really pleased with their work and would use them again. My experience was excellent. Obviously there will be an initial contract. Do be sure to document any changes made along the way (change in glass style or change in cabinet door knobs). I had some minor changes that in a small way lowered the price (just a tad).....upon review of the final bill I found the adjustment had not been made. When I pointed it out they quickly adjusted. Am thinking that at some point we may sell our place and do another and will definitely use Smokey Mountain Cabinets again. Beautiful work and nice people.

They did a good job and I will continue to use them in future.
