Joyce, Harold and Buster were just wonderful. The floor was not easy to install and they took their time and made sure it was done correctly. Excellent work. Try them. You won't regret it.

I made a down payment in September. It was late December when they actually did part of the work. The carpeting at the edge was not tacked down. The carpet was supposed to be restretched. It did not get done. I went in 3 weeks ago to talk with them. They did bill me. I did not pay and they said that they would forgive the balance. Today, they did not show again. They called and apologized again and wanted to come tomorrow. How many days does a person have to lose to get a promised job done. Their communication and performance has gone down hill.

The problem was the person doing the work had too many jobs going all at once and did not complete the work on time. Once we knew the date was going to be missed we renegotiated the date to a second deadline, which also was missed. The quality of work degraded with each deadline missed as the workman was angered by our concern about the quality of work and missed deadlines. Our total experience was unacceptable and I personally would not recommend Palatka flooring to anyone.
We did negotiate a lower price for the shoddy work and walked away unhappy customers

Super! Several months later I visited the store and he gave me instructions for the care of the hardwood with the products that he suggested that we use.

We selected the flooring before we left Florida but decided that it was the wrong choice. We look around our area but could not come up with stock numbers that Brian coul;d compare. He search around our area (Indiana) until he found a flooring center that we could visit and look at samples that we could compare and then he selected flooring materials based on those color selections. When we arrived at the flooring store in Indiana, we found that he had called them to tell them that we were coming and asked them to give us a hand. They called us by name! The floor is beautiful. I went back to Florida to set up the rooms again and stopped by his store. He gave me care and cleaning advice and cleaning supplies to use too. He definitely gets the job for the rest of my flooring needs.
