Oakes Meat Processing took my order over the phone and I thought they wrote down all of my instructions. The facility was clean and the people seemed nice, but our order was not processed the way that we requested it over the phone. We were quite disappointed that the soup bones that I requested to be cut up and placed inside of gallon size bags were thrown whole into a garbage bag! That was so unprofessional, unsanitary, and offensive. This was the first time a butcher handed us cow bones in this manner. Also, we asked for ground beef to be packed in 1 lb packages and after weighing them, they are all different weights varying from 1.25 to 1.5 lbs each,and another disappointment, the steak packages were too many steaks per package. I hope that if we ever do business with this company again that they can get the order correct.
