I will start off by saying most of my frustration with this company was with the sales rep, the way they charge for a product and the miscommunications between the sale rep and installers. If it wasn?t for the installers and the project coordinator, this whole process would have been an awful experience. I had two double doors and about 125 feet worth of soffit installed on my barndo. They charged me almost 34K for everything. You will not get a breakdown on what you are paying for. Paperwork basically said soffit and non-impact doors and total price. That should have been my first red flag. When I ask the sale rep later for a breakdown of what I am paying for, he sent a excel spreadsheet. For the money they were charging me, I couldn?t even get a professional letterhead invoice from him. This is where I noticed the price gauging. For example, I was charged almost $980 for Schlage ?Addison? handle set. Those same handle set would have cost me no more than $600 anywhere online. AVOID!

Worst company ever!! The salesman that work there are the worst! These people took advantage of my mother, locking her into a tub to shower deal x2. It is absolutely heartbreaking thinking about these people preying on the elderly. They pressure you into signing a contract immediately so that you don't have time to shop around. The installers did an awful job. So bad that I had to get them to come out 2 more times, yet they still didn't grout the tub correctly. The silicone peels and is so discolored. I told them that it must have been a bad tube or something, but they only fixed one shelf. That 1 shelf looks decent while the rest is so pitiful. I left a review on Google and they called my mother and harassed her for a 5 stat review. And then told her that if I was to get someone else to replace the silicone, that the warranty will be void. So now she is stuck with pathetic work. We got the showers installed in March/April and regret it everyday!

Customer service was outstanding! And Matt Kolokouris was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional in explaining window replacements. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for quality work for your money!

Very, very disappointed with Hometown! A professional company is expected to do a good job and we rate them on doing just that. A true rating of a company should be based on how they handle their mistakes and honor their obligations to their customers. I purchased a patio cover that started leaking soon after installation. Several repair attempts later I asked about my 1 year warranty and was assured my warranty would start and extend for 1 year from the repair that did not leak. I contacted a Hometown owner, Jamie K. and was told Hometown would do the needed repairs at no cost to me. That proved to be a lie. They did not stop the leaks and I was told I would be required to pay for any future repairs. Hometown stopped answering my calls, texts and emails. Seniors Versus Crime tried to help me and Hometown turned it over to their attorney. So we go to court! I have thousands of dollars in a roof that continues to leak drips and down pours from every seam. Water leaks thru the now nonworking fan/light fixtures and drips off the pull chains. It is a useless, dangerous disgrace and Hometown does not care. I asked Hometown to pay to have it taken down and a new one installed. They refused so we go to court. Hometown can do nice work and they can do bad work that is REALLY BAD WORK and HOMETOWN WALKS AWAY LEAVING THE CUSTOMER TO LIVE WITH IT! They lie and bully you and if you do not go away tell you to talk to their attorney. Hometown did not stand by their word or their work with me. I have been forced to take them to court! More of my money wasted because I trusted Hometown Contractors!

I couldn't be happier. This sunroom is the best quality and they have a warranty on their work. I was just telling my friend if another hurricane comes it would be the best place to be as it is most sound and safe part of the house.

Hometown did a great job. They installed new windows and doors. They were on scheduled and completed the quickly and professionally. I am pleased with the quality of their work.

I was very pleased with the work they did replacing an old Jacuzzi tub with a large beautiful handicapped ready shower. They were quick and here when they said. More than being quick, they did an excellent job. Their communication through all phases was excellent. They also have great followup. I will use them again! I had a lot going on when the work was done, but I appreciate them working with me through a that difficult time. Thank you!

This company does some of the best work I have ever seen.

I had a small leak around the door (putty). They were quickly to fix.

Clear explanation of the details of the job. Were open to my desires of the project. Completely satisfied with their work and service.

Always came when they said and if they could not come would always call to let us know.

The sun room door was improperly installed. Eventually, we got it re-done the proper way, which left some cosmetic issues. The door frame was poorly patched at a dead bolt and door lock strike plate. Time will tell how strong it really is.

After completion of the job and the company received payment from the finance company, I noticed issues with my rain gutter. I've called and left several messages and no return call. So those guarantees they say they have, they probably don't like using them
