I highly recommend University Plumbing, Inc. I hired them 4 years ago to fix a bathroom plumbing problem that another plumber had messed up. There is no other plumber I would call since then, so it was a no-brainer to call him to deal with what we uncovered when we renovated our 30-year old kitchen in the last two weeks. The previous owner had replumbed the house, and when we tore out the cabinets, we found the supply lines weaving through the cabinets (not in the wall). We hired University Plumbing to replumb the supply lines so that they were inside the wall (before the new cabinets were installed). Drywall had to be cut out so that he could install the lines inside the walls. He then came back, after the new cabinets and granite countertop was installed. This last visit took three hours because he had to hook up all the plumbing under the sink, install the new faucet, new disposal, and new dishwasher. We were without running water for 2 weeks in the kitchen, so it goes without saying...that we were really eager to get Jim out to install all the plumbing after we had waited the requisite amount of time after granite install on a Friday. Monday morning, he was there early, to wrap up the kitchen plumbing after the reno. I highly recommend University Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. He does it the right way, no shortcuts, and won't drain your wallet. He is there when he says he will be, he calls ahead to confirm he is on his way, and his prices are very fair. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant gentleman. The attached picture is after Jim properly installed the supply lines inside the walls.

We kept this gentleman's card, and if we ever need a plumber again, we will call University Plumbing.  I had to reschedule, due to scheduling issues with the granite countertop, and he called back a couple times, checking on when he should come out.  It worked out where he showed up just a couple hours after the granite was installed. Very professional, friendly, and efficient.  Fantastic job, no leaks at all.  This guy cares about his customers, it is obvious!

Water was shooting out of a broken pipe coming out of the building. I got on Angies list and called several plumbers Jim(owner)was one of the first to respond and gave and approximate time to get here. He was on time and fixed the problem efficiently.

He was respectful to the business and got the job done.

I highly recommend this company. I will  use them again

Jim called 20 minutes prior to arriving, and made it within the promised two-hour window. He gave it a thorough inspection, but stopped short of opening up my ceiling. Concluded that one ceiling mark was due to one upstairs toilet overflowing a week prior, and the other due to leaks in shower drainage. Jim basically explained to me how to clean, caulk and seal my bath and shower, then touch up my ceiling, myself. So he basically saved me the money by teaching me how to do it myself, saved me the hassle by not opening my ceiling, and he didn't even charge me for the call. Chalked it up to being a and quot;good neighbor.and quot; So I gave him $20 for beer money.

It appears that Jim is a one-man-show working out of his garage, which is fine by me. His heart is in the right place, and he seems to be very well qualified, honest, and no-nonsense. He's my go-to guy from now on for plumbing, and I have work for him. Just don't put him on the spot by asking for a free service call. My intent is to post a good review, not to put him on the spot for free work. So if *you* are honest, use him, he's your guy. Also, I suspect he would rather stay close to home, in Oviedo.

I was really happy when I found University plumbing. Our first visit my niece threw a pen down the toilet and he snaked it with no problem. quick easy and very reasonably priced. On the second visit our kitchen sink faucet broke and he came out and assessed the problem. I needed a whole new faucet. I went to Home Depot that day, bought a new faucet, called him and he was able to make it back out that afternoon and install it. In our dealings with Jim I have found him to be honest and reliable and will continue to use him.

The service was excellent. We needed a few repairs made on a house we had purchased. We have used this company a number of times over the past few years. We felt the jobs were completed very well (with no short cuts). The problems and the needed repairs were well explained to us. The work was done efficiently, with attention to detail. Everything was was well cleaned afterwards. We will continue to use University Plumbing.

He was here for 20 minutes and his work was very good. However, I thought he was very expensive.
