I have a two story 3300 sf home. Glenn showed up right on time. His website indicated it would normally take 2-3 hours. Glenn was here for 1 1/2 hours. He had his completed report conveniently sent to my email that night. When Glenn was finished he mentioned that my downstairs A/C unit was not working. That was strange since it was working when he arrived. I had to call an A/C tech to determine that someone must have accidently hit a sensor in the attic near the air handler, that caused the sensor to lose voltage. The tech just moved it back in place, but it still cost me $90. The inspection included a few remarks that were incorrect. one being that Glenn believed my roof was layered (new roof applied over an old one). this is not the case. it was a complete tear off before the new one was applied. I was also surprised that he did not go onto the roof at all. Glenn took pictures of stains on the 2nd floor ceiling and the garage ceiling without trying to determine how the stains got there. I have had inspections before where the inspector went in the attic and saw that new wood was replaced and could at least note that corrective action appears to have been done. I think Glenn could have gone up into the attic or the garage crawl space and see that work was complete. Glenn also said my pool finish was old. It was actually refinished two years ago. the guys that did it just did a terrible job and I never paid them for it.
