We have used Swim Systems before many times. As usual, Alan (the owner) arrived when he said he would and did the work with his signature kind, courteous and professional style. The work was completed without any problems and we received a follow up call to see if we had questions on the new system. I should add that he continued to work on the first day through rainy and stormy weather. This is an exceptional family owned business with kind, friendly, quality and professional service. These are not folks who are out to charge you unreasonable fees and they work hard to accommodate your request into their schedule. Great follow up service and they are open to you asking questions. For this job, Alan provided very helpful information on which might be the best type of pool cleaner to replace the one we had. We are very happy with our pool cleaner and it continues to be quite effective. If you are looking for honest, caring, quality professionals who are quite helpful, then I would highly recommend Swim Systems!

The owner, Alan, has an unparalleled passion for everything about pools.  He's got all manner of certifications and know-how about gas, electronics, plumbing, etc.  You name it, he loves to do it and knows how to do it well.  He's a one-man army for the pool, but he's also a one-man show.  I called recently about getting a new pool heater and assessing what I believed to be a leak.  Turns out he was undergoing treatment.  His very nice wife called back and said he would be out of commission for a few weeks.  I was crestfallen, so sorry that he was having health issues, but she recommended another business that could help me and they were awesome, too.  Nicely done, Swim Systems.  Wishing you all the best in life and business.

Responsiveness to my initial call was probably 1 week, though I was warned when placing my initial call that this would probably be the case, since they only had one technician working in the field at the time.
Service required two separate visits, though initial dispatch fee was not charged for second visit to repair a problem that was originally diagnosed as OK during the first visit a week prior. Service technicians were extremely friendly and courteous, not to mention very qualified. Alan, the owner, performed the service on the first visit and was a pleasure to work with over the phone. Service rates, although high, were performed quickly and I never felt as though the bill was being padded. Overall a very pleasant experience.

They are a good company and I would give them an "A". I would use them again if the work was needed.

When I first called to set up a service call, Melissa was very friendly over the phone, and then she called me back the next day to coordinate the best time for the service tech to meet me at my house. I missed her call in the morning, and she called me back again in the afternoon to follow up again, even without hearing back from me first. I really liked that because it showed that she was working hard to earn my business. Then when their technician Bret arrived, I felt very comfortable. He was dressed in a company uniform shirt, drove a company truck, etc. - all the things you expect from a professional organization. But since this was my first time using Swim Systems I didn't know what to expect - so I was relieved that it wasn't some guy in a T-shirt with a magnetic sign on the side of his personal vehicle - you know what I mean? I watched Bret perform the whole installation of my new heater and was very impressed. He was careful and deliberate and thorough. I am a commercial general contractor and I have seen lots of tradesmen "build" things over the years, and I swear that Bret is in the top 1% of every person I've ever watched as far as doing their work right and carefully the first time, and being able to walk away from a job that is 100% correct and that anyone would be proud of. As an example, I noticed when he was spraying soapy water on the gas lines to check for leaks, he also sprayed the fittings inside the heater (factory fittings that he didn't even install). I asked if he ever found those to be bad from the factory and he said "just once - but ever since then I check every single time". After Bret had left, I thought back and realized something rather interesting about the whole service call. I'm a cheap/thrifty person, and here I was paying a solid fee by the half-hour for this guy, and he was very methodical and careful not to rush, yet somehow I felt he was also being mindful of the clock and my repair bill. We talked and he was informative and cordial, but he never put down his tools to chit-chat as I've seen other hourly workers do. My stomach gets tight when I have to pay over $100 for anything, so I was nervous about how much this was going to cost, but watching everything that went into it, I can honestly say that it was worth it and I feel great about it. There might be cheaper options out there, but I don't plan to find out the next time I need something. This was such a terrific experience that at the end Bret asked if it would be OK for him to put his company's sticker with phone number on my pool control panel, that I said "yes - please do!" I've had dozens of people stick their stickers or yard signs or whatever on my house over the years - but he's the only one that ever asked first. In summary, I'm very satisfied with my new heater, and with the entire interaction with Swim Systems. If I have any other pool/spa related needs in the future, it feels good knowing exactly who I will call, and that I'll be able to rely on them.

Outstanding. Workman wouldn't even go into screened pool area without cleaning shoes first. Very professional. Charged me for only the time they were working as it took two trips (one trip to inspect, order parts and the next day for installation). Understand replacing pool light fixture went easier than most so I suspect every job can be different as far as labor costs go. Workman was willing to answer every question I had and never made me feel stupid or inferior for asking. Great company.

What a great guy and a fantastic family owned company! He and his firm first did work for me in 2001 by replacing a pool pump, filter, some electrical work associated with the installation, and checking my pool system overall and making some minor corrections to things that he found that he said weren't ''just right''. I was extremely happy and completely satisfied with the work he performed back then. I recalled that Mr. Brotz had a professional electrical engineer's license as well as a master electrician's license, so I thought I would call him for advice before spending over $1,000 just to replace two breakers that (among other things) controlled my pool equipment. Am I ever glad I called him!! He exceeded all of my expectations on the earlier job and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of this job. Price, work quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism from a company couldn't be any higher than what I have received from Swim Systems and Mr. Brotz.

Jim, who was the main person I spoke with, was always friendly and courteous, promptly returned calls, called me when he said he would and kept me informed on the status of when the work would be performed. Jason, the technician, was always here on time and was also very courteous and performed the work in a timely manner. He also took the time to answer any questions I had.
