Marc showed up on time for estimate and the work was performed as scheduled.  They did a great job on the sod and plant removal.  His recommendations on how much sod to replace was spot on and the front yard looks great.

The initial experience was good. The lawn was trimmed on  a fairly regular basis. There were occasional "misses" on certain hedges or areas of the lawn but nothing significant. As the months progressed larger sections of the lawn were missed, again, only occasionally. Overall the work was acceptable. They did a very nice job of sod replacement. I even received occasional updates on the lawn and problem areas that needed special attention.
During the winter months however, the experience has changed. I've not used a lawn service before so I'm not sure if it is common practice to pay a full summer month rate while the service is reduced by half (4x per month vs 2x per month). I was paying $110 per month for 4 visits during the summer and have been paying the same since October for 2 visits per month. Beginning in December I suspected that biweekly visits were extending to 3-4 weeks. By February I confirmed that only one visit occurred for the month. I've cancelled further service.
The guys who performed the service were always extremely friendly and I suspect that they are simply overwhelmed with the volume of work; however, I cannot justify paying $110 for one lawn service per month.
