DAN WALKED OFF THE UNFINISHED JOB AFTER I PAID HIM $30K+ I hired Dan in July of 2024 to do a master bath and master closet remodeling. He said it would be done in about 2 months. I paid deposit in late July 2024. He said he'd start in mid August. Well, he didn't start until late September. This should have been a red flag for me, but I let it slide. Overall, I lost the use of my master bedroom and master bathroom (not to mention furniture that had to be stored in other rooms making the house rather messy) for OVER A YEAR. He gave me multiple change orders. He quoted $18K and I ended up paying OVER $30K. There were no payment issues from me, I paid every invoice promptly within a day. Finally, he walked off the job without even bothering to inform me about that. It was a HUGE AND COSTLY MISTAKE to hire this man and his crew.
