It went beautifully. This is the second time we used this company. The first was to repair the very old unit. At that time we were extremely happy with the service because this was an extremely old unit. This time we decided we wanted it replaced and with exterior access pad. E and M showed up on time and got right to work. They really knew their business, and he worked fast and efficiently. Before I knew it I could hear the now quiet door opening and closing. We programmed the outside access pad and remotes. There were no issues. Everthing was cleaned up and the old opener was taken away. The price was actually even a bit less than I had anticipated paying. I feel we had top of the line service and would not hesitate to either use them again or refer them to someone else needing a garage door opener repaired or replaced.

I had another company that is on Angies list come give me a and quot;tune upand quot;. The person came, charged me $100 and said I needed to replace the garage door ($1,400). Needless to say, I will not call that company again.
I called Eddie from Eand M. He was prompt, honest and repaired my door (new springs). He got the job done quickly and at a fair price. Eddie is now on my short list of home professionals I will hire. I look for direct communication, straight facts, and no up selling. Who could ask for more?

It went very well. He gave me the choice of repair or replace. He was prompt and knowledgable. Also he was honest about the repair and the choice of repair or replace and did not pressure me for the more expensive service. I was also impressed that he had the replacement gear right there on the truck.

Price was very reasonable for garage door and opener. Eddie was professional and polite. I would definitely recommend Eand M Garage Door.

Great service a honest no nonsense person.

The garage door became inoperative approximately 1 month ago. I could no longer open the door, and the opener itself was broken. I did not know it at the time, but the garage door itself was broken. The counter balance spring had actually snapped in two. Eddie came out to my house to inspect the door and opener one day prior to the scheduled repair date. It was then he discovered the real problem. I had been set to buy an entire new garage door opener. However, Eddie said that as soon as he replaced the ( counter balancer ) spring, a new opener would not be needed. This saved me about $100.00 After Eddie replaced the counter balancer, he went through all parts of the door and opener. He wound up replacing several other worn or inoperative parts. It now works as good as new. Eddie is a fast worker, and very knowledgable, and above all, honest. I recommend him to anyone that has a problem with their garage door or opener.
I would like to mention one other thing. In all the years I have been using Angies List, I have never had a negative experience with any contractor or technician or any other reference that I got from Angies List. Thank You Angie!!!

The springs broke approximately 5:00p.m. Thursday after my wife closed the garage door. I immediately called Eddie and received a return call within 20 minutes. He promised to be at the house Friday morning between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. He arrived at 9:13 a.m. (You can set your clock by this guy). He immediately diagnosed the problem and proceeded to repair it. He is friendly, professional, trustworthy and highly skilled. I have referred him to two of my neighbors and have worked with him for over twenty years. He's the only contractor I would ever call.

Excellent - arrived when he said he would and his quality of worrk was outstanding

Eddie of E and M Garage door came promptly. He improvised and placed a better steal beam. He executed quickly. He also checked my other garage door and repaired a loose wood beam.

He said he would call back and did. Showed up the same day and completed work. Very efficient.

I placed a call one morning. That afternoon my call was returned by Edward and he told me he would would be out the next day between 1 and 3. He arrived about 1:15. He set up and completed the job in probably an hour an a half. He went over the door completely, hooked it back up to the opener and made sure it was working properly.

They were perfect in every way.

HE'S VERY DOWN TO EARTH. THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND AND WILLING TO COME BACK AT ANY TIME IF THERE'S A PROBLEM. HE ALSO ADVISES OVER THE PHONE AND IS JUST A VERY DECENT PERSON.

WE JUST THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY ETHICAL AND WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY HONEST. THEY JUST KNEW THEIR PRODUCT VERY WELL. THEY KNEW ALL ABOUT THE INSTALLATION. THEY PROMISED PAPERWORK AT A TIME, AND IT WAS ON TIME. THEY PROMISED THEIR WORK AT A SPECIFIC TIME, AND IT WAS ALL ON TIME. THEY SHOOK MY HAND.
