 + -1 moreThey wouldn't respond to any of my emails or letters...avoided me like the plague. Numerus emails and 2 certified letters were ignored. Promised quality parts, crap parts put on for the price of quoted parts...profit margin made. The car rides hard like there are no struts on it. They don't want to be bothered because they have their money.
Description of Work: I was promised on 2/21 (in written estimate signed by the owner) the replacement of 2 front struts for my Lexus, NAPA Proformance (Monroe) struts, and an AISEN Timing Belt assy signed off by the owner, Henry Wilken. He guaranteed me the parts were in stock and available. Dropped the car off the next day, and his shop installed (without notification) Master Pro struts instead which are of extremely inferior quality. After noticing how rough the car was riding, I called and talked to Henry and he said it might take time for adjustment, and that we should take a test drive even though he wouldn't be familiar as to how the car rode the day before. I referred to the bill/receipt and it identifies the struts as Bilstein, but a visual of the parts installed match MasterPro p/n 34LX1102 & 1105. On 5/26/22, I called the shop and spoke with Henry and questioned the substitution of parts without notification, and he became VERY nasty and belligerent calling me stupid and I didn't know what I was talking about, and worse things. He said it was "his right" to replace parts with "comparable parts" which these are not. I didn't raise my voice to him, merely questioned the bill. I cannot take my car back to him now for ANY further work as I no longer trust him with my car after his berating me on the phone. He also overcharged me for the Timing Belt assy, labeled on the bill as AISEN A5001-445552 for $308. AISEN doesn't have that part #, but, I called the local O'Reily store and they found it matched their part # 20393K in stock for $169.99. I sent Henry 4 emails between 5/15 and 6/5 to 3 different email addresses (one verified by calling their office) all were ignored. Then, sent a certified letter on 8/22/22, which the card came back "unsigned". Sent another on 9/6 and card came back signed by "agent". I have given him plenty of time to do the honorable thing to address this situation, but it seems he would rather "avoid" it altogether. Calzadam, 22, was booked on July 30th on the following Arson charges: Advertisement OUT-OF-COUNTY WARRANT-OUT-OF-COUNTY WARRANT – ICJIS Affidavit, Original Charge(S): 806.01(2) ARSON SECOND DEGREE // 918.13(1)(A) TAMPERING W/PHYSICAL $3000.00 OUT-OF-COUNTY WARRANT-OUT-OF-COUNTY WARRANT – ICJIS Affidavit, Original Charge(S): 806.01(2) ARSON SECOND DEGREE // 918.13(1)(A) TAMPERING W/PHYSICAL. Calzada was operating an Audi SUV Jorge Albert De Castro when she fatally struck 63-year-old Castro and his dog on June 1 around 8:15 p.m. on Eagle Circle and Shadow Drive in Casselberry. Calzada the fled the scene. Officers found the SUV, on fire, about a mile from the crash scene. The vehicle ended up being stolen. The investigation showed that Calzada lied to troopers about her whereabouts and was seen on surveillance video ditching the Audi in an apartment complex. Calzada is being charged with negligent homicide, perjury and failing to remain at a crash involving death. It is unknown if the arson charges are related.

 + -1 moreSee BBB complaint - 90238804 Came in and reported that the compressor was not working. (this problem was listed on the original repair order to them) They repaired a leak (not the compressor). It did NOT fix the problem. Came back and said why did they not fix the compressor. They said, they thought it was just a leak. Then said the fan was bad. They repaired fan. Did NOT fix the problem. Went to the dealership. Dealership replaced the compressor. This FIXED the problem. 2 trips at over 1500$ total and they did not fix what I asked them to fix. I had to go to the dealership and pay another 700-800$ to fix what I asked Autotronics to fix. I would have saved money and time if I would have skipped Autotronics and gone to the dealer to begin with.

Description of Work: Excellent car repair! Done right. Honest too! They could have charged me more several times and I wouldn't have known the difference, but the clincher was a time when they told me what the problem was and that my car was still under warranty for it, so take it to the dealer!

Description of Work: This is a local garage that I have use since 1997. Always honest, reliable and will tell you exactly what is needed. They will give you view of situation, options and most importantly do an honest job. They also have someone who can take you home or pick you up if needed. Local area within Oviedo. Price for basic work or even engine work is reasonable.

 + -1 moreI had taken my truck to several shops in the area for 2 months, and no one could diagnose it. They all threw their hands up in the air, and Autotronics diagnosed it, they were spot on, I told them to go ahead and fix it, and they fixed it right the first time.
Description of Work: I use Autotronics for auto service. They diagnosed and repaired a problem with backfiring lots of power on my pickup truck.

 + -1 moreThe clutch replacement went fine, but we had just had another part of the clutch mechanism replaced about six months earlier for about the same price. When we took it to other places they had said we needed a new clutch, but these guys said no. Only to find out six months later that we did need a new clutch. It seems like they tried to appear to be cheaper, when truly they ended up costing us more later. They were helpful with an a/c fix in our 2003 Honda Odyssey sometime in the past three years, but I am still not sure I can trust them.

 + 0 moreThey are great. I took my vehicle to two other auto repair ships and both of them between a week and two weeks both of them throw their hand and said they couldn't fix the car. This was the third place I went to after the first two basically threw in a towel on it and these people have the diagnostic equipment and knowledge to actually deal with the problem and had the diagnosis done within two hours. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: I used Autotronics about two weeks ago. I had a dodge truck in there that was backfiring on cold start and they went ahead and fixed it and at the same time they also did a tune up and replaced the battery.

I thought I had a major engine problem, but it turns out my car needed oil. I had them to some other little things as well. Pricing was extremely fair and the service was excellent. Nice and honest staff.

Description of Work: it was time for the Miata's 188k check up. somethings were done a long time ago.A/C check -Brake Check -Timing Belt, Water Pump, tensioner, idler pulley, seals, even found a problem w/ a gear. we suspected but weren't sure.i supplied the synthetic fluids: oil change, differential/transfer case, brake flush, clutch flush, coolant.Tires: new rims balanced and rotated. a long days work.they called with updates and provided some inputs. but were not pushy on things that could be done.the mechanic came out as i climbed into the car and provided me w/ extra coolant and the extra quart of oil he didn't need.told me it as a sound car for the mile.they found nothing on the brakes but amazingly driving it home the squeaks and squeals we heard before were gone. Highly recommend

There was a decent place to sit and wait for the the job to be done. The price quoted for the job, as I called before taking the car in, was the price I paid when it was done. Description of Work: My flat tire was repaired and replaced on the vehicle and the spare was returned to the storage under the cargo area of the car. All tires were rotated and balanced and checked for correct tire pressure.

 + 0 moreI was given a 9:00 am appointment. I arrived on time and my car was taken immediately for the tire replacement. I waited in the lobby area and within 45 minutes my car was ready. Car is running smoothly, no more vibration problems when I get up to highway speeds.
Description of Work: Autotronics did an oil change and tire rotation. I also told them that I was experiencing a vibration in the steering wheel whenever I got up to high speeds. After the tire rotation, the mechanic told me that the vibration was as a result of the fact that all of my tires were severely worn out and I needed to get a new set of tires. The, following Monday they called me with an estimate for the new tires. I had a choice of 2 different brands. I had an opportunity to take some time to research the brands. Both choices were reasonably priced. I called them and agreed to get the new tires. I took the car in and the new tires were put on. The car runs like a dream now. I am very excited that I have found these guys, I had been looking around for a new mechanic since my old mechanic closed down about 3 months ago.

I can trust them, reasonably and fairly priced and don't try to over charge or pad their bills, professional, if they fixed something and if don't feel right to me they take it back in at no charge, and they are triple AAA place. The girl that works in the front office even knows about cars.

This is the place to go if your local service center can't fix the Explorer but you have neither the time or money to go to the local dealership. This is also the garage to go to if you want to keep your Explorer running for over 100,000 miles.
