Description of Work: I had hired Andrew to build a small addition onto my house. It was going to be a 8x6 storage room. The addition was required by the HOA in order to screen the pool that was going to be built. On Dec 20th I told him verbally that I wanted to award him the job and please move forward. Due to the holidays I did not put much pressure on him, but after the holidays I had to call him several times to find out where we were with the project. I finally got him to meet me on Jan. 7th and he said he would get started right away. The time frame for completion was estimated at 3 weeks. A few weeks go by without any contact, so I called and he said the plans were still with the engineer. After several phone calls and emails I finally got the prints from the engineer. THEY WERE WRONG. On Feb 4th Drew got the drawings from the engineer. They were correct this time and so I asked when he could get the permit and start. He said the engineer still needed to stamp the prints W**! On Feb 7th the prints are ready to be picked up. I again ask when can we apply for permitting? I am offering to do all the leg work and get this started. He tells me we can meet on the 9th to finalize the contract and he will then apply for permits. On the afternoon of the 8th Drew calls me tells me he no long wants to build the addition and I should find someone else. This man delayed my pool install by 51 days. The same day (today the 8th) I called an engineer and some subs from Angie's List and will pick up new prints tomorrow. I went out tonight and purchased a window and door and will have the entire project completed in two weeks.
