I contacted Calico corners for window treatments in August, 2012. A Consultant came to my home and took all the measurements etc.
About a week later I went to the Store and we spent a lot of time choosing fabrics and designs.
Approx. the end of August I called the Co. and ordered and paid for window treatments for the dining room and one guest bedroom.
The Valances were installed in early Dec by a very nice gentleman. However, after he left, I thought the dining room valance does not look like I had expected.
The main issue is that the window treatment for the dining room was not what I ordered. The bedroom valance was perfect.
I called Toni (Calico Corners) who came to my house but we couldn't seem to figure out what went wrong. So I am left with a Valance that I am not happy with.
I really liked working with Toni, she is very talented and professional.
I just don't know what to do with this issue. I am not happy with the plain design of the valance.
The Valance was supposed to be An Empire design and instead I have a simple straight design .

They are definitely more expensive. Overall they do a good job and I will continue to use them again in the future.

The window treatments were ordered well in advance to coordinate with when we would be at the house and other work being done. Calico Corners was easy to work with regarding scheduling of the installation work, and kept us informed about the availability and arrival of materials. When it came time to install the cornices, the work was scheduled and he arrived on time. There was a small glitch when he forgot to bring the curtain panels, but that was easily resolved with another visit. There was also a small glitch with the depth of the cornice over those side panels; that cornice was remade at Calico's expense. They were very agreeable despite those small issues. All the work went in very well, and was well made. And it looks FABULOUS!
