AWFUL.. This was done 2 years ago and we have had NOTHING but problems and were told the unit itself is a piece of garbage. Here is the full story: I wrote a comment 2 years ago about the poor, rude, unprofessional, behavior and treatment by this company. And also how they do not stand behind their product. The comment the owners wife put under it is a LIE.. I am not a competitor, I worked for one long time ago, my roommate is a 69 year old woman on social security that unfortunatly chose Weber to install her new A/C Unit. After a few months the unit died.. So in the middle of August , in a mobile home, for a whole month the part did not come in. I guess they did not care to use Fed Ex to get it running, after all thy got their money. The owner would sarcastically refer to my rommate as my "girlfriend" ( we are not a couple)and if we were what is the issue? He also said that people were calling and harassing them about the poor dogs in the heat. Have no clue who would have done that. We had a man staying here whose mother had died and who would have been homeless if we did not take him in. He had serious emotional issues, whether he called or not, I have no clue. But I can tell you that we were accused of having our dog urinate on the filter, like a dog has that kind of aim, then accused of not changing the filter enough because we had lots of animals, and the unit kept freezing up. NOTE: Never HAD THIS Problem WITH THE OLD A/C.. And we changed the filter every 2 months. To make a long story short.. The A/C went out AGAIN within a few weeks on the weekend. I called and was told we cannot come out until Monday, and once again were accuse of it being OUR fault. So instead of sitting in heat ANOTHER WEEKEND WITH THIS NEW A/C I called the company I used to work for , they came and said not enough freon added it. and it worked and when I called the wife was rude, said we had broken our contract with having another company fix the problem in this NEW A/C.. And THEN proceeded to threaten to call the police on me if I called again, and accused me of something the man staying here might have been doing. So, I have ALL THE BILLS THAT IT COST TO FIX THIS NEW A/C and once again it is acting up. Then the wife tracked me down to where I used to work using the internet and had then emailed me to call her about the review and then threatened to have her lawyer get on me, the problem is when you tell the TRUTH, and have DOCUMENTATION it is hard to threaten someone with a lawyer.and she also lied and said she had spoken to my roommate, and I asked my roommate and she said no she did not speak to her. So, basically we were told the unit is a piece of crap...by the other company. So if you live in a mobile home, and look like poor white trash, which we are not, just struggling like many are to survive AND they think you have a "girlfriend" then I guess you do not get professional, courteous, customer service. Weber Air installed a piece of crap and two years later it is STILL breaking down. And the best is the reason it was freezing we were told was that the duct work that WE PAID FOR to be installed by Weber was too small for the unit, so we had to pay AGAIN to have the right duct work put in, and guess what? No more freezing up. I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional, rude treatment.The A/C breaking down was NOT OUR FAULT. And this morning when I called to speak to them they hung up the phone. So, I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and will be contacting other people and organizations as well.We want our money back, the unit OUT, and ALL THE MONEY THAT WE SPENT ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP REFUNDED. When I dealt with them I was a church going person , that is over..... So basically if you want a company that treats EVERYONE with courtesy and sticks behind their products look elsewhere, we have all the receipts of ALL the money we have put into this until and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. So, would it not have been easier to talk to me on the phone rather than hanging up because NOW people will know the whole story. PATHETIC and SHAMEFUL IN MY OPINION. A 69 year old lady on Social Security.....I guess you have to have nice home to get good customer service.
