It went great! I was a little nervous about putting tile over tile but Irv, Donna and Scott assured me it would be fine. And it was. Very professional, friendly and just plain nice people. They did everything I requested in a timely manner. I have just recommended them to my son who will be tiling his house.

Volusia County Flooring has done all of our tile and hardwood flooring in our home. Most recently they removed the original floor tile in the kitchen and half bath and installed new floor tile in both, along with installed back splash tile in kitchen. Their work is always very professional with attention to detail. The final product is always outstanding.

the job was estimated at 4-5 days, it took 9. when it was done I called donna to complain about uneven tiles. she said it should have taken 5 days, but she was surprised at uneven tiles as she heard they did a good job (must have been her crew, it wasn't us). we wanted the brick design, but scott told us that when the tiles are made the middle is thicker than the sides so it would look uneven, and we did not want that so we went with the straight design. turns out it didn't matter. scott said the grout would dry in a few weeks and then it would be the same color. we have been waiting for the grout to dry and be the same color, but it isn't happening, probably because the grout is different heights and widths.

"Im very sorry that you are unhappy, It seems as if I failed in educating you as to what "rectified" means, its a sharp, severe edge tile(I do recall explaining this to you) and with the size of the tile(20x20) in the manufacturing process, the tiles are crowned at the center, sloping to the corners, which makes for some "lippage", "very standard" in the industry and it is not to exceed a certain measurement(of that measurement, youre home is "well" within specifications).[member name removed],your installer did in fact talk you out of the brick pattern to ensure you would not have that lippage problem and after 17 years of union tile setting experience, and a 40 year career of combined work experience, thought your best option would install the tile straight, we did however to answer your next issue take 9 days to complete your job, when I originally quoted you 5 and the reason for that is we jackhammered 1000sf of existing tile(to install your new) moved your furniture(at no additional charge),covered your belongings and cabinets( a courtesy to our customers) and when we removed your floor found cracks and addressed them with crack suppressant(at no additional charge)we also needed dry time for the crack adhesion, its a full 24 hour cure time. I also sent someone by to buff your floor for you and again that was at no extra charge, I do need to say that I was really quite surprised by your review, you did in fact get a great job (not a good job, a great job) and outside of Angies list(we have been in business for many years before Angies list) and I have a LONG list of Happy customers, strike that "thrilled" customers and again, Im sorry for not giving you a proper education"

Went to Volusia County flooring on friend's recommendations. People were nice, not pushy and very informative..Selected porcelain tile and carpets for the entire house..Nice products, appear to be good quality..Installers were great and very professional..The sales people were very helpful in making suggestions, not just trying to sell you the most expensive items..Just a few issues: Tile ordered with a delivery date of 1-2 weeks..Tile came in but they didn't notify us for 2 extra weeks (we had to call). In their defense, the person we were dealing with had a family emergency that called her away. But someone should have kept track of our order to contact us (minor)..Another issue: They had to remove existing tile. When the two guys started, one jackhammer broke and the second was ineffective, which added several days to the job..It took them several days to replace the broken tool and the other one was very slow and ineffective..Now the positives: Installers were very professional and meticulous..They constantly apologized for the delays. Watching them install the tile and carpets, I forgot about the other stuff. The job they did was first rate and any problem was immediately corrected.. Installers did a great job..I would definitely use this company again..

To begin, owners Scott and Donna came to our condo home and met with us. We were very comfortable and became confident of their honesty, integrity and ability to complete the assignment professionally in a short time. They made helpful suggestions and were ready to begin in short order. We had enough confidence to provide them with a substantial deposit and a key to our home as we headed out of town!
The materials selection process was concluded without any issues or drama and out selections were available. Their crew, with Scott in the lead, arrived on time every day of the process. Our building management commented on their professional manner and how any debris was cleaned up daily. The crew was friendly and professional and as we lived in the unit for much of the remodel, were comfortable and noticed how they worked around our needs. Their subcontractors were equally professional and there were no issues.
Our remodel was done on time and with a minimum of issues. We are delighted with the end results and strongly recommend Volusia Flooring Outlet, and particularly Donna & Scott, for any remodeling needs.
If we had one suggestion, because of our rapid speed in moving forward, we did not get a fully itemized statement of work. While we were overall very pleased as previously stated, it does cause some confusion as we concluded.

The whole experience from choosing the tile through the install was very professional. The people know what they are doing and carry quality products. They are friendly and easy to work with. We never felt that they were pressuring us to buy anything. The end result is beautiful and we will hire them again in the future.

Volusia County Flooring Outlet are amazing, they are very easy to deal with, they responded back very quickly, gave me a quote before hand and worked with me on what I liked, it was a pretty big job and they were very accommodating, we had to remove everything from the house for them to work on the house. They are good people.I was happy with the cost and what they delivered. I picked out expensive wood floors and tiles but their price was fair for what they did. I was pleased with what they did. What they did was very comprehensive.

Donna and Lisa were very helpful when we were trying to decide what tile and grout to use. They helped us find the perfect mosaic for the center of the porch. They installed the tiles and mosaic when promised and at the promised price. Carlos Herz did the installation and he did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Volusia County Flooring for any tile work.

Once I found Volusia County Flooring Outlet my experience was great. I had called several handy men type companies as well as a couple general contractors. I never did get a quote out of anyone. Either they never called me back or never completed a quote. I was getting very worried. My husband is disabled and now in a wheel chair. I had to get the tub taken out and a nice tile shower installed. All of our carpeted areas had to be replaced with tile or laminated wood flooring so he can get his power wheel chair around. I found this company on the internet when I searched bathroom remodeling. Boy am I glad I did. When I called I spoke with Donna. She treated me so special. I felt she listened to my needs and really cared about the job. Donna, her husband and father-in law own Volusia County Flooring Outlet. It was so nice to be able to go to their show room and see the materials and make all the decisions. They were very prompt, honest and reliable. I was told exactly what would happen and they were on target with everything they said. I live in a small studio in a high rise condo, and our condo manager was very pleased with their professionalism. Everyone I dealt with had wonderful suggestions and solutions to all my needs. I would use this company again and I personally recommend them for all your flooring and bathroom remodeling needs. My little place looks new and GREAT!!!! Please give them a call.
