It was the worst construction project I've ever seen. The house was framed like a "trapezoid" . When we pointed it out (they didn't catch it themselves even though the floor tiles were a dead give away), they sawed the 2x4 framing and shifted it. Several months later, it was apparent that they didn't reattach it correctly and the wall moved when the closet was filled.
The tile installer went out to lunch and came back drunk and abusive. Scott Vanacore wouldn't drive around the corner to ask him to leave. He left it to me, the female homeowner alone for the weekend.
The toilet leaked underneath. Things like that can happen....Scott called the plumber to fix it. Then, when we had another leak which we thought was coming from the bathroom, Scott accused me of sabotaging the project. (So much for the customer is always right.) He called the plumber to drive many miles (he lives within 2 miles and would inspect it himself) only to find out that it was the plumbing but the A/C unit drain line had been installed incorrectly. The A/C company admitted their error and pleasantly repaired it but the damage done by Scott Vanacore accusing me of doing something to the plumbing was the final straw!
