I cannot express enough how badly this company performed, and the level of unprofessionalism and absolute disregard for their clients that they had.
We chose this company in part because they were a family-run company, and we liked the idea of helping small businesses in our community. The owner, Jeff, was very friendly and informative BEFORE they got our money. That all changed.
First, we were given a 35 day timeline for our new inground spa (that was to be installed next to our existing inground pool). The project took 3 months, and wasn't even completed correctly.
There are so many bad things that happened, I am just going to run down a list of some:
- Numerous delays blamed on weather even though it wasn't always raining
- Promised us verbally that our lawn would not be damaged, then proceeded to destroy 1/3 of our grass and refused to repair it
- Stated verbally that they would redo our tile grout in the main pool, then refused, stating "Is it in the contract?"
- Painted the deck the wrong color, had to repaint it (when they did we realized we didn't like the color and it had to be repainted a third time, but the last one was our fault, and we understand that since we made a poor color choice)
- Stained the bottom of our pool with concrete, took over a month to repair that, and when they did, they left permanent ruts in our pool interior
- The owner, Jeff, was IMPOSSIBLE to reach, and always had someone else returning our phone calls, even when we asked to speak directly to him (we had no trouble reaching him BEFORE he got our money)
- They put in a stone deck around the spa, which we had many headaches with them and the construction of, and we were actually told by their employee who installed it that it was his FIRST time ever laying down a stone deck! And yet he did it unsupervised.
- When we attempted to speak about our numerous complaints with the owner (when we were finally able to reach him), he was rude to me, yelling at me, and told me "you've got two ears and one mouth so shut it and listen."
- After the project was completed, our light inside the pool that they installed completely fell off and we had to pay another person to have it reinstalled
- We discovered after they completed the job that they had done the plumbing wrong, and had to pay another company to fix it
I could actually go on for much longer, but I think anyone reading this has gotten the point. DON'T let them fool you with their sales pitch, they are a ruthless, money-hungry company with no integrity and quite frankly, I cannot believe they are even still in business.
