We were out of town during the remodel. I bought all tile before we left. Tony had the job almost completed upon our return. The job was completed never as agreed and was pretty sloppy upon close inspection. We are unhappy with the results.

First, this was a project that my wife headed up. Tony did a great job of explaining everything to my her and making her feel very comfortable about all aspects of the project. His crew is hands down to the cleanest group of contractors we had at our home ( from roof, A/C, plasters etc..). They showed up everyday when he said they would and cleaned up everyday. Not only the inside but the outside also. We wanted to use our electrician (who couldn't make it) then we used an outside company. Tony inspected their work was unhappy and brought in his guy in the blink of an eye.  The only down side for us was the plumbing contractor (name withheld on purpose) Tony used. The plumbing contractor was a ego driven mouthy, unprofessional and spoke to my wife like she was not worth his time. When Tony and I discussed this and I explained how unhappy I was he adjusted his contractor attitude and became the buffer between the plumber and I. then brought in a different plumber to finish up and it was nice to deal with a professional.    Tony and his crew did a good job for us.  Most important he explained everything to my wife as we went along and made her very comfortable as to what was going on. He was prompt professional, courteous and very clean as he worked.

We can not say enough about Southern Comfort, Tony DeJulio. After interviewing over a half dozen contractors we met with Tony and were very impressed. He was knowledgeable and professional. He was very prompt in getting back to us with a quote, unlike a lot of other contractors. Having been involved in many remodels during our life, we knew his pricing was very reasonable. There were no 'hidden surprises" in the pricing. Each change to the contract was discussed and agreed upon (we made all the changes by constantly adding new things too). Tony was always accommodating to our requests and schedules.

Tony and his team were always on time, professional, courteous and respectful of our home. They take pride in their work and it shows. The finished product is beautiful and exactly what we wanted.

We fully intend to use Southern Comfort next year with the next remodel project. In todays world where finding quality, trustworthy businesses is near impossible, Southern Comfort is rare find.

Great communication and up-front about any problems. The quality of the workmanship was very good. When the project was complete we had a couple of roof leaks which required a roofer to trace down. Tony supplied the roofer (DDRoofing) who stuck with the project until all the leaks were repaired.  This was more difficult than it sounds.  One of the leaks was very difficult to isolate and required multiple attempts over a couple of months to finally get fixed.  Tony took care of all the added expenses and then had our ruined ceiling tiles replaced.  Great job.

Tony showed up on time and was able to provide a clear estimate. The job was started on schedule and Tony and his crew were very professional and worked in an efficient  manner.  The job was done on time and within the estimated price. I would use Tony and his Southern Comfort crew in the future.

Just a quick note of recognition for "A JOB WELL DONE" by Tony and his very capable crew at Southern Comfort Constr.  This is the second time we have utilized the varied services of Southern Comfort Constr. Company and we remain completely satisfied customers.  The recent work involved the painting of our Master Bathroom, Outside Doors, and the Pool Deck all of which was completed in a professional, timely and reasonably priced manner.  We recommend Tony of Southern Comfort without hesitation or reservation,

From day one till the completion of the job Tony and his skilled and courteous crew showed up exactly when they said they would. The work was preformed in a very skilled and professional manner. Communication between Tony and us was exemplary. I would highly recommend Southern Comfort for any construction project you may have.

I needed to replace the carpet in my family room and wanted to move to a wood or tile floor. I reached out and got Tony. He worked with me to help me make the best decision. Scheduling was about par with other contractors I've worked with in the past. You hire for skill and not for the administration. The work was amazing and on time. I bought an older home do I've had a number of folks come through over the year. Tony's team worked fast, CLEAN, and on time. Tony is my go to guy for everything going forward.

We did appreciate the professionalism of Tony de Julio the owner of Southen Comfort Constructionand, of his team (two men) working with him and each day they cleaned our place as much as they could before leaving.  Tony gave us advices but also listen to our in-puts!!!
All in all the experience was pretty much painless and very well done!
We know where to go if we need some more work done in our unit.

Tony did a great job. I was not able to be here when the job was done and I was very happy to return and everything was just what I wanted. All my furniture had to be moved and nothing was damaged. We have been completely satisfied with Southern Comfort Construction.   I was particularly pleased with the metal roof he and his men constructed for my house.  They also did excellent cabinet work in our garage.

It did seem to take longer than we wanted but the end result is great.

He was very reasonable, professional and punctual.  He did exactly what we asked him to do.  The finished product looks really good.

He contacted us within 2 days after we requested the estimate. They did very good work. There were some concerns after the first day and we noted those concerns and had them come back. They fixed the problems; no issues. The price was good for the serviced provided. We are hoping to have them do some work in the future. It was $400 for the backsplash in the kitchen and we provided the materials. The first day he didn't show up and we ended up having to call him and he said he was still working on another project. That was the only big concern except for the few little details on the first day.

I contacted Tony based on reviews from angies list. I am remodeling a home and got into some things that I thought best be done by a expert. I was initially concerned that fully fledged contractor would not want to bother with a job as small as mine, but Tony was happy to do the work and gave me a fair estimate. Tony and the rest of his crew exceeded my expectations. They came through in every respect. The budget was spot-on and the work done was meticulous, timely and professional. Based on this experience, I will most likely have Southern Comfort back to do some things I wasn't even initially considering outside help for. I am grateful that there are still companies like Southern Comfort. If you are looking for an honest, professional contractor, I would highly recommended them.

It went great.
Tony and a helper came to the house and got right to work.  Tony had to custom fit a fire door into the space and did an excellent, precise and very clean job, it needs very very little touch up in the drywall where he had to cut etc.. to make the door fit.  Excellent job! and I was so worried about all the tile around the window he had to take out, not to mention the bamboo wall treatment on the outside of the window in the lanai.  They put the window in gingerly and it did not affect anything at all.
The widow fit perfectly and they caulked around it and it looks like it's always been right in that spot, which could not have been easy to do with it being a home from the 50's and block construction and all my tiles inside and bamboo outside!
He is a true professional and personable and caring individual.
We will be using him for all our updates!

Tony and Southern Comfort did an excellent job.  I would highly recommend them.  They are professional, courteous, clean up after their work.  They even wiped the walls down with a cleaning mixture to get the grout extra clean.

Tony was there on time and was very neat in his work.  Everything in our den was covered in plastic by Tony.
Also the floors were covered and then after the work was done everthing was picked up and vacuum by Tony. Tony
give us a price and in fact came in under that price because the materials were a little less than expected.  We would

Tony DeJulio is the most respectable, honest contractor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He was definitely a professional and worked hard to ensure everything was completed exactly how I requested. I can be quite picky and his patience was incredible. His pricing was definitely fair. Given the quality of his work, I would have easily paid double.

Friends and family visited for Thanksgiving and they were all amazed at his attention to detail and beautiful results. I have referred him multiple times since he completed the work and know that I will never go anywhere else.  His estimate was accurate, his team was professional and punctual and I couldn't have asked for better end results.

The contractor can make or break how you feel about the whole remodel process. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING WITH ANYONE ELSE.  Tony DeJulio is one in a million and I feel lucky that I was referred to him...and now I pass that luck along to you :)
