As a new resident in the area, you always take a risk with contractors. Some are recommended, some are not, some you just roll the dice. In my case, Joe Cartwright of East Coast Aluminum was recommended by my pool designer/contractor/builder. Joe was exceptionally prompt with his estimate and provided a clear list of choices while providing his own recommendation. I really liked that he gave me options and I picked the solution that I thought was the best overall for me. Joe's installer was terrific. A young man who was polite, personable and extremely professional. He worked hard and made sure that every attention to detail was provided. I would highly recommend Joe Cartwright and East Coast Aluminum for your screen room repairs.

Joe was very nice, pleasant, and good. He had the best price for what we were looking
for. At first he was very responsive and ready to tackle the job, and then we
ran into some design issues and permitting issues with the county and his
engineer. The County was wasting our time, as usual. It ended up extending our
begin project date a month or two, which Joe was not expecting. He works as a
volunteer fire fighter and it was very hard to get a hold of him sometimes. He
would call back two weeks later when we left messages for him. His work quality
was good and his subcontractors were pleasant and did a good job. Our only
issue was a one month project turned into a 5 month project because of the
County, not his fault, and then lack of communication towards the end, his
fault. We recommend the company to do the work, just be prepared to work around
his volunteer schedule. We had one small issue with one of our windows, and he
got the right people to come out and fix the issue, but it took two more months
because of scheduling again.

We ended up going with someone else but they were good.  The provider we used actually ended up buying the materials at East Coast.

Joe & his business partner, Cory were actually doing the job for someone else that we hired which we would not recommend; however, we would highly recommend EAST COAST ALUMINUM & ROOFING, INC. that Joe & Cory owned. They came out promptly & did a great job with building our pool screen enclosure. They had to remove some of our existing gutters & installed super gutters. They kept the working area cleaned throughout the process. It took about 3 days from start to finish. They were VERY professional. Again, they did a great job!
