Exceptional service! We have used Coastal Appliance Service for many years now. The owner, Mark, is a no nonsense kind of guy and goes straight to the problem to diagnosis what is wrong. He always seems to have the correct part on hand to fix the issue immediately. I recommend him to everyone I know and we have never heard a bad comment about his service!!

Mark was awesome. He knew exactly what was needed within 5 minutes and was finished completely in under 30 minutes. He had a fair price that was stated from the beginning. He was very kind and professional and answered every question no matter how inane they were. We'll have a list of to-dos at the first of the year.

Mark came on time. He was friendly and pleasant person. The job took about 15 minutes to connect new tube.

Mark was very prompt and professional.  He worked very hard to make sure that the job was done right.  He had to order the compressor for the refrigerator and had the part within 3 days.  When he went to install the part however, he was morified to find that it was defective and did not work.  No worries. Mark had a replacement compressor one day later.  My refrigerator is up and running like new.

You call Mark of Coastal Appliance Service and tell him the make and model of your appliance and you tell him over the phone what it is doing and why it is doing and what kind of noise it is making and he will get the part ahead of time and he will come with the new part. He troubleshoots over the phone. He installed a part for us in 20 minutes and the washing machine works like brand new. He also helped us with an ice making machine and didn't charge us for it. He fixed a commercial drier as well. He is very punctual and very on time and although he has to make a living by charging you for parts, he doesn't gauge you to death. His prices are extremely reasonable. He will let you know what is wrong, he will show you what is wrong and gives you options if you want him to change the part or not.

He was very congenial and he has a good answering machine. He doesn’t make promises that he can’t make. When he says he will be there, he will be there. Then he right away goes fixes parts real cheap. He fixes it very quickly. His prices were absolutely wonderful. He fixed the washer and showed us the receipts for the parts. He showed us where he got the parts, I don’t know whether he showed us the price or not. I had him do my washing machine once and then I had him do my ice machine inside the refrigerator. For the washing machine, he got the right parts, the bells, the gear box and he installed them very quickly and very cheaply. I think I paid him $75 for the washing machine for the total of parts and everything. The next guy would charge me $200 or $125 or $150. He charged $75 bucks, got all the parts and got it done quickly. Then he came to the ice machine over here and he charged $45 for the parts. He probably came to fix the ice machine two or three times inside the refrigerator. He knows his stuff; he just goes in there and knows what he is doing, knows what parts to get and just gets it done. He did a wonderful job and has an absolutely wonderful price.

Mark explained what he was doing in detail and provided tips on how to prevent a recurrence. He came the same day that I called and was very prompt and courteous. Highly recommended!

Mark was very punctual, calling to tell us he was on his way. Both times he took care not to harm our wood flooring and cleaned up after himself. By showing my husband what to do for the dishwasher, he will probably save us another service call as well as down time with the appliance. Very courteous and friendly.

When our refrigerator stopped blowing cold air, we were afraid we may have an expensive repair and were considering the option of replacing it. We looked up the age (5 years) and started calling appliance repair companies. Although several did suggest it would be worth it to repair, we were told if it were a simple fix, we could expect to pay at least 250.00. I randomly called Coastal Appliance Service, and Mark, the owner and technician, said it was most likely a starter switch which would cost around $130, parts and labor. He said he had recently done a similar repair, which seems to be common with our make/model. He came about 4 hours after I called and replaced the switch and got it running in short time. I had him replace our water filter cartridge too, since it was overdue, and his price was comparable to another store. We were so thrilled that we didn't have to replace a fairly new refrigerator, and that we had found an honest, professional. We will definitely use him again!
